My husband worked with HHP on his Challenger Hellcat based on recommendations from a local shop (we live in NJ and wanted some serious work done. He I spoke with them numerous times and ultimately took their recommendation to have a Custom Limiter Cam installed. We paid about $6k to have it installed in December 2019 and he has been unhappy with the sound since installation. It doesn’t sound like it has a cam, and he heard the owner making jokes in the shop about ‘the car that won’t lope’. He drove down in 2022 (3 hour round trip drive) and spent the entire day in the shop so the owner could could work on it, just for him to say he can’t make it work. He did indicate at one point he thinks there is a problem with the software, but we never had any follow up. We've tried reaching out for resolution multiple times but have not received a response. This is pretty par for the course with the level of service we've historically received.

For example, we paid HHP $12k for a new supercharger to ensure he could run in the 8’s on the track, and am currently running SLOWER than on the stock supercharger. We have to hound them to get assistance in a new tune and even drove 7 hours roundtrip to Maryland International Raceway just to accommodate the owner's schedule and get trackside support. Unfortunately, that was a wasted effort – my husband showed up at 7:45 in the morning and the owner didn’t arrive until 3:15. He was able to get one revised tune that did not help and the day was over. His solution was that my husband get a hotel room and go to Walmart to get supplies so he could stay overnight and get assistance from him the next morning.

The complete lack of regard for our time and investment is ridiculous. Sadly, we've wasted way too much of our time and energy with this shop, hoping that they would make good on their word. Don't waste your time or money. Find...

If any of you read these reviews and stumble across the 1 star reviews......ignore them. I have dealt with HHP several times. From rebuilds to new engines. Their work is e.x.c.e.p.t.i.o.n.a.l and their customer service is unmatched. I am rather new to Mopar products, but they a.l.w.a.y.s took the time to explain the ins and outs of every single variation you are contemplating. When you call for technical assistance, I usually got Greg, they are patient and unmatched in knowledge of the various Mopar models they deal with. Right down to the model years and the different components you need to either change, bolster, or leave alone. They give you options and they show you the best way to handle your requirements. They do it fairly and are completely transparent throughout the process. They tell you what they can do and what is not advisable. I have found there are zero blind spots with HHP. When you go the spend the money on the types of cars they work on....you do not want surprises. They minimize those and are up front about things. Simply put: my experiences with them have altered how I will purchase vehicles in the future. I'll buy used and let them redo or replace the engine. Pound for pound......you will spend less money and get a far superior product when it is all...

I've always heard good about HHP. So, when my Hellcat challenger needed a driveshaft upgrade, they were definitely on my list. I soon found out that due to supply issues, stock was extremely scarce, and the wait time was long. When I called HHP and explained that I needed one quick and in stock, I was amazed to be assured that they had 8 in stock, and they promised they could ship one out in just a few days!

I immediately ordered it. And then a couple days later I found out there were some shipping issues that prevented it from being shipped immediately. The person I contacted did not offer up much in the way of explanation nor did offer any alternatives. So, I canceled my order and started to look elsewhere.

It wasn't very long after, that I received a call from Josh who took the time to explain the issues and also offered some suggestions as to how they might could help me. The most surprising things to me was the effort of reaching out as well as the explanation and the willingness to try and resolve the issue. We found a way to work it out and they were able to get the driveshaft shipped. HHP and Josh in particular, have impressed me immensely with their commitment to customer service!
