From a Truckers Perspective Only… Delivering to any massive corporate place is never a quick situation. They must make sure everything is accounted for and I’d imagine the employees are not incentivized on how fast they are able to count things. Though the message is “Hurry Up and Wait”…it really is the attitude of the person at the reception desk that makes or breaks your experience. The young lady here today is pretty nice. Understand…they are just as sick of drivers leaning in asking the same questions with the aroma of Newport’s and Nachos as we are of waiting hours to unload in a break room that feels like a federal prison. It’s a balance. Be cool and expect to be a while. Be surprised when it’s an expeditious exit.

Probably the best experience at a Walmart DC I've had. Arrived at 6:00am for a 6:30am appt. Had a door immediately. Dropped the trailer, checked in, and was unloaded by 7:15. Out the gate by 7:30. The unload policy is about or up to 4hrs. You can cut that time in half by choosing to have them email you your bills. They will provide you with documentation saying the load has been delivered. They'll unload the trailer, cut you loose, and within 24hrs they'll email you your final bills. Nice especially if you have a follow up load and you can't or don't want to wait. There's also a rest area about 4 miles away if you arrive early with a large parking lot and facilities/vending/ATM.

For Drivers, those come early: I just drop off my trailer at their facility for unloading, so I don’t know how long time they will take time. But fellow Drivers if you come early go to their parking (rest area) at 5500 N DuPont highway, Smyrna, DE 19977. Make sure put Smyrna, it shows Dover as well. Google maps could show 5500 N DuPont “”Drive”” instead of “highway” but it’s the same place. Don’t be confused. I hope this information will be helpful to first time comer drivers.

Is there a way to post a negative star? Cons *Staff is rude *Slow unloading *Cant ask why it is taking long to unload , you just have to sit and wait *Bathroom leaks and almost made me vomit when opened the door *Everything and everywhere is extremely dirty *Be careful in their yard since there’s nails and screws everywhere *No place to park, they send you to a near by rest area which is always full *Insults drivers *Act like they are by appointment but in reality it’s a complete clown show at the speed these guys are going, be prepared to do your 10 hour sleep cycle *My 9 year old nephews Pokémon collection is more organized compared to this place

Now let’s get to the positives of this place! Please think very good before going here, it is not worth it , drop the load before you make the same mistake I have by going here. Again , this...

One of the worst places to deliver. They don’t let you stay on property and take way to long to unload. 5 hours and they are only 2/3s of the way with my trailer. Staff doesn’t care about how long it takes or how it makes you lose time and money. Management is a joke.

Update: So 1 month later I returned to the facility with the same load. This time was very different. They changed their policy and allow drivers to stay on property while being unloaded. They also had the trailer unloaded in record time for a floor load that had to be hand unloaded. From arrival to check out was about 3 hours. Additionally they have an internal policy that they only have 4 hours to get you unloaded. Seems like they to notice of previous complaints and actually changed things...
