I brought my a dress that had been previously altered in another state which was left bulging and ill fitting, and Helen fixed it up perfectly after just one appointment. She was happy to answer my questions about the previous tailor's mistakes.

She offered many helpful tips about dress storage, anti-static, how to get the dress on carefully, etc. Her attention to detail is astounding; she found a tiny pin that was left in the dress from the original manufacturer during my fitting, and on a whim she helped trim the tulle so evenly at the front of the dress when I noticed it was uneven. Prices were very reasonable, scheduling was easy. Her regulars love her so much they bring her baked goods. I am going to recommend her to all of my family and friends 1000%. Used for dry-cleaning and tailoring. Seam repair on skirt, was shocked by positive reviews, picked up a week later, visible stitches, bulge, had to ask to be redone. Dry-cleaning was overpriced, had better cleaning at budget cleaner, left some spots on garments. Dry-cleaning bag was dirty from snow. Since the company wouldn't negotiate for my complaint at all, I had to get the refund for all services through their dry-cleaner who was really nice, professional. This was by far the most rude service I've ever used anywhere for anything. The cost of the services was over $60, so my complaints were very valid. There were multiple issues with what I paid for, but my negative review is mostly for their handling of issues. They hung up on me, were rude to my husband. I came here after a horrible experience with a tailor in Chagrin Falls. I walked in the door of A&M with a $300 bridesmaid dress that had been cut unevenly by the previous tailor (for a $50 fee) and I was really upset. The tailor at this place was extremely helpful. She helped me carry my 8 week old son into the room, asked lots of questions about the dress and the event I was wearing it to as well as my postpartum body which changes by the day. She’s also incredibly good at her craft, and explained the process of how she was going to hem the dress and take in the back. I picked up the dress a week later and she had fixed the uneven hem, and did a fantastic job altering the dress for me. It now looks like it was made to fit me. Pricing here is also very reasonable, and I’ll be more than happy to go back anytime I need tailoring or alterations...
