This review is way overdue at know ones fault but my own , and FX for building such a awesome PCP airgun. For at least 6 years I've been wanting to purchase a PCP air rifle and finally decided to do so. I have Beeman break barrel that I bought back in the early 90's in 177 and love shooting it but I wanted a 22 cal and started looking at PCP rifles. I googled airguns and Pyramyd Air popped up and the search began. I researched several models and initially settled on a Benjamin Marauder due the reviews I read and the quality for price . Fast forward several years and some more cash put away I started the search again with a call to Pyramyd. I got Calvin on the phone and started asking question about different brands they offered and what I was thinking about. I told Calvin that after waiting this long for one I wanted the best overall for the money. That at this point in my life I've found out that you buy what you want and the best you can afford because that way it only hurts once. After several lengthy calls and discussions with Calvin I decided on a FX Impact M4. Calvin helped me pick out my entire kit explaining what attributes each one of them had. At that time Pyramyd was currently our stock of the Impact M4 in bronze. Calvin explained that I could put one in I believe my cart and when one came in I'd be contacted to see if I still wanted it. I may not have this exactly correct but in about 30 days I received a call and voicemail from Calvin because I had missed his call saying had got some in. That if I wanted one I needed to call him back. So I immediately called back and got Bridget. I asked to speak to Calvin and was told by Bridget that he was on the phone with another customer. I explained very anxiously to her why I was calling and I was worried that I may not get the rifle due to me missing Calvins call. Bridget said she understood and told me not to worry that she'd get the message to Calvin right away. Shortly after Calvin called me back and said he was happy I called him back immediately, because they only had one left and it was bronze. I told him thanks and lets get the sale done. Calvin took his time with me during this process as he'd done the times I'd called before asking question about different rifles and equipment. I'd given Calvin my FFL's info but as the shipping was being set up that dept. had a issue with something to do with my FFL which I don't remember at this time. This is when I had my dealings with Greg because Calvin was out of the office that day. Greg worked diligently with myself and my FFL to get the issue resolved and get my rifle shipped. I know this is a long and extensive review but I just want others to know my satisfaction and heartfelt thanks to the folks I had the pleasure dealing with at Pyramyd Air. That this needed more then a '' Great customer service and product and 5 stars''. THANKS again to Calvin, Bridget and Greg. BECAUSE WITHOUT THEIR HELP AND OBVIOUS DEDICATION this 67 year old little boys dream may have not happened. If you can't tell by the above text I strongly recommend Pyramyd Air and give them 5 STARS. Read morePlaced my initial order and everything I added to my cart was listed as "in stock". But 36 hours later I receive an email saying items are not in fact in stock! I called and spoke with Henry and he matter of factly told me my items were in fact out of stock and they had no idea when they would be back in stock.? I placed this order weeks and weeks before Christmas to avoid this issue. The company showed zero compassion or interest in the fact that there was an issue with their online order system. As I write this there is no communication from pyramyd regarding the missing items from my order. Buyer beware with this company!!??
UPDATE: One month later and I have not heard even a whisper from "customer service". The "owner" clearly stated in their response to watch for an email from customer service regarding my situation. But a month has now gone by and clearly they don't care! The "owner" should be following up on situations like this if they really care and not just make a post that they will do something with no actual follow thru. This clearly reinforces my initial concern that they only care about your money and not the FULL experience. Now the "owner" has made a promise and they FAILED too. We are only a number to this company and they just proved that again. So their execution is questionable, delivery is sketchy, customer service is rude and ultimately of no help and the "owner" makes statements to try and show they care with zero follow up...all part of the "show". I understand we are all human and make mistakes. Just acknowledge you screwed up and then make it right. Don't make up excuses and pass the buck. But that is what continues to happen to me at least. Read moreThis was a straight shame sham and rip off b/c I ordered products and all was well as I traced them from 3\26-3\29 as I received 2 of the 3 item from the same order I purchased on 3\26 but the most important item all of a sudden didn't clear after being processed/shipped and ready to be delivered by 3\30 so I made major plans and paid for with the same credit card for fun events that came up to be close to 700.00 and the most important item I made these plans around (the airgun) I didn't receive. Now if I ordered it from them again all of the options I had are (free shipping, discounts coupons) no longer available and will cost me more than what the air gun was b4.Wow what a shame and low down dirty to do for a few more dollars What cost me $150.00 now will cost almost close to $175.00 if not more to reorder without the discounts. I will NEVER order anything from here again EVER. I lost more money trying to do something fun with friends. My entire weekend is busted and I'm out nearly $700.00 and after reading the 1 star complaint comments in the order portion it was probably because I put my wife's name down as the receiver instead of my name although both of us and the billing and delivery address are the same so I don't understand how there was no problem taking the money out for the CO2 containers and the other accessories (no problem) but when it came to the most important part of the purchase suddenly,"Houston we have a problem, and even then no one reached out to me with any questions to asked. NEVER EVER EVER AGAIN.
