I wish I could give more than 5 stars!

First, the place is super easy to find. We were able to park and we didn’t have any issues. Also I was super impressed that Kelsey send me a message with details about my appointment and how to find the place as well. 10/10 for that in my book!

Second, the place is really nice and cute is really clean! 10/10 as well for that!

Third, the most important one for me. I’ve been debating with getting my ears pierced again. Had a little bit of PTSD with the place that I went before when I was young. But I wanted a second earlobe! Searching through instagram and checking areas to get pierced. Reading reviews and all the fun stuff I found House of Pokes! I made my appointment! The wait it was worth it! I know her appointments are a little far out because is only one person which is not a problem but I will rather wait than going through another bad experience.

The day before my appointment I was super nervous and also when I was there I was super nervous but Kelsey did a great job with just having a normal conversation and distracting me. Also with the ear placement she was very good with it and making sure that I chose the correct earrings for the cleaning part and to make it easier for me. The piercing was not bad actually. When I was looking for someone to pierce my 4 year olds ears for the first time I wanted to do my research and not take her just anywhere. A co-worker mention House of Pokes to me and I quickly looked it up. I started following House of Pokes on facebook and after seeing posts and stories, I knew Kelsey was the right person. I was incredibly impressed with her pre-appointment text/reminders, her warm and inviting work space and her incredibly sweet personality. Little did I know that I was going to be hooked and have since then received 3 piercings myself with more to come! :)

Kelsey is knowledgeable about piercings and honest about the best piercings for your ear autonomy. She also is very thorough in with aftercare instructions which should tell you she cares and wants the best outcome for her clients.

There is a reason she books out in advance! She is the best of the best and very much worth the wait!

I came in super anxious for my piercings but Kelsey really made me comfortable! I adore her cute space she has & she really took the time to make sure she placed them right. She was also super educational and helpful! I already booked another appointment! Highly recommend! Update: this is my 2nd time getting pierced with Kelsey, and I'm so happy! I absolutely love how she has so many options for the piercing jewelry, so I didn't have to just get basic silver/gold balls. Instead I don't feel the need to change my jewelry any time soon!
