I come here often, but this is not my first choice of laundromat. The machines are very expensive with a medium machine costing $5, compared to my first choice with the same sized machine only costing $2. Dryers here cost $2 for 28 minutes, while my other location has dryers for only $1 for the same amount of time. I just had an incident where one of the washers ate $1.75 worth of quarters because of a "coin error." I was able to quickly get in touch with someone for a refund (there was no one working on site) and got everything sorted out. I'm afraid that there won't be any way of knowing whether this issue is resolved with the machine itself unless someone drops more money into it. I sometimes use this laundromat because it is closer to my house and is usually empty, but I may have to only go to my first choice of laundromat. It was ok, clean enough. It's a laundromat so what do you expect? Maybe just a few machines were out of order, 2 or 3 maybe. Paying with the Speed Queen app was great, convenient! No need to walk in with a bag full of quarters! I used a heavy duty washer for a thick heavy blanket and some other bedding. It cost $10! Woah that's a lot! A whole roll of quarters! Good thing for the app! The dryer was only $2 for 28 minutes so that wasn't bad. There is a bathroom, luckily, because I had to go. But there's a sign on the bathroom door about washing your hands properly. Yet there was no soap, no paper towels to dry your hands, and worst of all, no toilet paper! 😲 Lucky I didn't need toilet paper! This was my first time at the Clothespin in Somerset Tx. It took me 15 min to try to figure out that I couldn't just put my money in and it would wash. Finally did one machine with $5 in quarters. Then did 2 others thru the Speed Queen App. Then get to put my clothes in the dryer. I filled it up then realized this one doesn't have a door. OMG , OK I can pay the dryer with quarters $2 or thru the app. I'm getting my clothes out and taking to the car then the doors are locked! I still had 2 dryers running. Now what do I do? Its a good thing I didn't leave my phone or keys in there. I called the number on the website it was just a busy signal. No after hours number or email .
