Most of the menu was the owners' with DECADES of experience in TRUE MEXICAN CUISINE, he has managed & owned SEVERAL fine restaurants. If your in Somerset Tx & don't stop in your just wasting your taste buds , if you go anywhere else YOUR WASTING YOUR MONEY....

I stop in multiple times a week. El charro is my go to for quick but good breakfast tacos as well as lunch and dinner. The staff always make you feel at home. The food taste just like home as well, you know how it goes you dont like everything that mom cooks but you have your favorites. This will continue to be my go to place anytime I'm passing through.

It was nice, quiet and clean. I ordered La Parilla for 1, sweet tea and a Coke. I went with my 5yr old grandson. I ended up sharing my meal with him because he changed his mind about being hungry when I got there. Staff was friendly and attentive. Menu prices are reasonable and the food was served in a timely manner. Will definitely return.

Honestly if I could put negative stars I would. First time going there..First there was no silverware or napkins we had to ask several times to get those. Second they got my order completely wrong, I order a Mexican plate and I got an Italian style meal. A ranchero plate with bell pepper and onion with crema, but I get Alfredo sauce with mushrooms...MUSHROOMS?! after double checking to make sure I wanted the dish and then bringing something totally different. Spending 35 bucks to not even get what I ordered is crazy and no I...

Went for the first time and was so disappointed. I hate to go to a restaurant and you order from the menu and they say we don’t have that order something else we don’t have that either. So you settle for something else and then not like it. The rice omg was like purée over cooked so mushy. I can go on but I will stop here. I hope the owners except criticism to become successful and reevaluate...
