Most recently, ROADHOUSE SAYRE, was in need of some jewelry engraving, as well as some jewelry repairs and cleaning. Not being very cognizant, or even knowledgeable about the jewelry industry, you know, being a male, I took a notion to go visit, that there, Calvin Broyles Jewelers, located right there in the lovely town of Springhill, West By God, Virginia! The first person I met, when walking in to this Fine Establishment - was sweet little Tonya Vickers. Tonya immediately took control of the situation, and hooked me up with my jewelry repairs, As well as some jewelry cleaning. She connected me to the engraving and placed my order For that service. She was very kind and courteous, as well as very hospitable, and just happens to be from the beautiful town of POCA! So now Roadhouse has labeled her as my sweet little Poca Dot. Miss Tonya was spot on from beginning to finish of my orders, and promptly called me when my engraving was completed. She made certain that everything was correct and even put my jewelry on for me. Claimed diamond was loose on platinum engagement ring, remade PLATINUM prongs with SOLDER!

Can't comment on the jewelry they sell, however I will comment on the jewelry repairs they did for me. My wife took her engagement ring to them over a year ago for resizing and "tightening" the prongs at their recommendation. Well, the one prong didn't seem right as soon as we received it. My wife took it back and they said they would correct it and when they sent it back it still looked terrible. Two months later prong broke completely, but we wouldn't dare take it back to this jeweler. Fast forward to october 2017 and we brought the ring to the jeweler who originally sold it to me in Chicago. Well he looked at it and informed us that the supposed "tightening' was actually remaking of the platinum prongs with ordinary electricians' solder! I was partly mad and partly amused that these people were that inferior of jewelers. In short, don't let them work on anything that is valuable to you or your significant other. If you have a diamond ring made from platinum, know that it can only be properly repaired with a laser. You are immediately greeted and someone helps with your requests from finding the right gift ( even if requires special order) to going above and beyond to repair a keepsake watch for my 97 year old mother.
