Pizza Hut — Restaurant in South Charleston

On Saturday March 7, 2020 I ordered 60 bucks worth of Pizza Hut menu items. Normally, we don't order like that but then we have to make a special trip to Pizza Hut because of the distance, so we ordered heavy because there were many new items we wanted to give a try. Everything was ready on time, which was fast. It looked and smelled great. One of the pizzas had a complex topping list and it looked perfect. Everything was great.

Got it home - it tasted great!

An hour later, the first rumbles of a stomach not happy began. By 4 hours later, the puking began, the misery sat in and the left over pizza was thrown out. Unfortunately, when you vomit you know what it was that set your stomach off and since none of us had eaten several hours before Pizza Hut, it was obvious what the common issue was.

This location has not been a problem in the past but we have seldom been there because of the distance. The chatter about why we got sick seems to be that we think the ingredients were bad. Most likely the toppings had been sitting out for several days and while they looked good, they were anything but. We at first assumed the cook was sick but it was not a virus that took us all down, only bad food can do that, that quick and that universally.

So, in this review. This location may have been nice in the past and may be nice in the future, but for now, stay away - it has a food quality problem that will...

Terrible service, I left home to get 2 pepperoni pizza melts, one with cheese and one without cheese. This pizza hut is about 6 minutes from my home. When I received “my food” I realized they gave me 1 pizza melts and then a thin crust pizza with no cheese? The worker said he clicked the wrong button by mistake and said I had to wait another 15 minutes to get my other pizza melt. When he gives me my pizza melt I go home and realize they gave me one pepperoni pizza melt with cheese and a meatlovers pizza melt… I called and complained and they offered to make another but I had to drive back there to get it. On the phone I specifically said ONLY pepperoni and an extra side of sauce. When I get there he hands me the pizza melt and I look at it and he put extra sauce INSIDE the pepperoni melt that had no cheese. So when I got home to eat it, the whole thing fell apart from how much sauce was in it, all the pepperoni slid off the bread. Everything was a mess. Not only did they mess up my order once or twice but THREE times. I will not be returning. It took me over an hour just to even get one pizza melt that wasn’t even correct for the third time. As a worker in the food industry I know mistakes get made but three times in a row in one day is...

Didn't get my entire order so tried calling the store and they let the phone ring for 13 mins and then picked up and hung up on me and I called right back while I drove to the store.The phone was ringing still from my call when I got to the store. I told the manager to go ahead and answer the phone before helping me and she did. The look on her face when she answered the phone and it was me on the other end was great. I said well the phones do work, why did it take me driving down here to get you to answer the phone? I mean 7 people working and not 1 of them could answer the phone? Come on! They gave me the rest of my order but did NOTHING to make it right. I went home to cold pizza and cheese sticks. Still trying to figure out why I paid $4 for the delivery fee and then the tip to have to turn around and drive down there to get the rest of my order cause they didn't want to answer the phone. Also, why is the manager delivering pizzas when they have 2 delivery drivers in the store on the clock? Will not be ordering from here...
