There is a heavy set cashier with short dark curly hair and glasses that we all avoid at all costs. If I see she’s in there I will walk right back out and go to one of the dollar stores. If you are in line behind someone she is checking out she will not start to scan your items until the customer in front of you is in their car. She literally stares out the window forcing all the other customers in line to wait on her to be done staring before she even starts on the next person in line. She says weird things. Read moreI've lived in South Charleston for 14 years and previous to that, I lived just outside of South Charleston. I shopped at this store for years for random things. In recent months we have mostly stopped going there, if we can avoid it. The prices are outrageous, we have received expired food on more than one occasion and some of the female employees are very mean spirited. They made a huge mistake by letting the deli manager go. She was the glue that was holding that store together. We decided to stop here at IGA to grab an Ace bandage to wrap his knee to help get us to Cedarville. Unfortunately IGA didn't carry the Ace bandage, but the gentleman on duty went above and beyond and gave us his own personal Ace bandage that he had in his own bag.
