Went to have a birthday party there and was there 20 mins before having to speak to the manager because the workers were laughing and talking crap about a parent that was trying to understand why her kid couldnt swim with his floats on so then asked to talk to said manager who then talked to staff and let them lie to him and then told me i can not prove that they were talking crap and laughing at us even though im standing there listening to it while waiting for him then he proceeds to be ride and tell me im the-one being hostile because he refused to do anything about the situation. I have worked in customer service and get that u want ur team to trust you but when your team is wrong u need to correct it everything was unprofessional as hell and not okay in the slightest by the end of this interaction we paid for a party that we didnt get to have he refused to give us his higher ups number which is illegal on top of him shaking like he was ready to hit one of us. Do better!!!! Do not recommend this pool...

The rec center was awesome when I was a teenager, about 15 years ago. Now its ok, if you want to swim or workout, but if you want to do anything else that they offer you have to make sure that you bring your own equipment (they used to rent equipment, but no longer do so). Furthermore BE VERY WARY of paying for any of their summer activities (EX. Soccer Camp, swimming lessons, ect...) Because when you pay (alot of money) for your child to do these activities they will change the schedule at the last minute or in the middle of said activity and won't call any of the parents to let them know and they won't reimburse you either. My family and I had this happen to us TWICE in summer of 2018. Missed most of swimming lessons and two days of soccer camp because of them doing schedule changes and not telling anybody. They had 3 ways to get a hold of me and never did. Next year we will be doing these activities just not through or with the South...

Will not be going back. Went today for a family party. The life guards were snobby and useless... Kids are not allowed to wear LIFE VEST in the deep end. The kids were not even near the rope and one of the life guards felt the need to come get onto them when I was right there with them. Also, apparently the swim lanes aren't allowed tobe used by the public... My cousin's were racing down the "race" lanes (adults) and was told to get out. We weren't even allowed to place our things on the deck.... Jumped all over my boyfriend for even walking up there... Mind you, the floors were soaked and there was no room to even place our things by the pool because they had over booked. The boys showers are completely open... My boyfriend had to block my nephew while he was changing because men or not no one should be watching...
