KFC — Restaurant in South Charleston

Will not return to this location! KFC’s just arent what they used to be. Stopped in after placing the orders online (several accounts large group ordered separately) order was pick up at 8:15 arrived a little late no biggie the kind lady says it will be about 11 more minutes on crispy. We sit in the car for a few and then return inside nice lady says coming up now, I said no worries as we have a seat and just scroll TikToc a few. Nice lady says order up, we go to counter get bags lady says I gave you 6 bar b and 6 KFC sauce, do you need more? Yes please ( ordering online only lets you select 3 per 10 piece) I then ask nicely for some of the paper plates. (We ordered 3 8 pc chicken buckets, 2 10 pc tenders, and a chicken sandwich I was handed 3, I ask for a few more and the guy gets upset and walks away and brings back 2 more, the lady sees how he’s acting and says I’m sorry I’ll get you some more. I say thank you and she comes back with 2 more and said that’s all my boss would give me. What? Are you freaking kidding me! More than $60.00 and I can only get 7 little paper plate cardboard looking...

I will never go back to the South Charleston WV KFCagain I went in today and ordered a 8pc Big meal that was 20.00. My order was taken at 5:02 pm and at 5:33 I still had not received my order. There was a man that came in after me and placed a big order when he received his order before I did. I asked where my order was and they looked at the screen and my order wasn't on there and I handed them my receipt. There was 2 couples that came in after me and no one had waited on them. The manager had told them that someone would be with then in a min and that was 10 mins before I asked where my order was. And when I get aggravated with them the manager then comes and tells me to calm down. I asked why I have been was for now over a half an hour for my food. During that time both couples walk out with out even placing an order. Will definitely not be going back to that...

When did KFC change their fried chicken seasoning and coating recipe?? I haven't had an 8 pc bucket for years and this one unfortunately was the very worst fried chicken I've ever tasted. It now tastes like flour with a little seasoning in it. The taste is nothing like the 23 spices, etc that The Colonal developed. I always like to find a positive within a negative. But, this time it's obvious that the corporate bean counters in concert with their R & D cooks have come up a coating and flavor that I just could not recommend. Forget their their once spectacular chicken. It's now in the far corner of the basement of fried chickens. No mas! It's unfortunate.

BTW: Seems they changed the french fries from the best tasting in the industry to some coated slurry...
