I went in there looking a hot mess today as a first time client with past hair cutting trauma and a head full of uneven, dead, severely compromised bleached at home hair today. Anne really was so kind, compassionate, nonjudgmental, and did more than I could have asked or imagined when I booked the apt.

She cut me so gently into a hair style I love and I can honestly say I haven’t loved my hair since another salon took it from my lower back to my chin last April. It was uneven and choppy and not at all what I had wanted and I was terrified to try again. I accepted my fate at a very short in the back bob to try to even it out but explained my long term goal and she kept so much of the length I already had, shaped it so nicely, cut what was needed, and made it just look so very nice.

I unexpectedly asked her to tone my hair as well so I could just be done bleaching and sit somewhere comfortable for a while and she did it warning that it likely won’t be even and she would feel bad if it wasn’t perfect. I didn’t want to push and respected her boundary and she ended up consulting with someone else for an opinion on toning it and they together made literal magic.

I no longer feel like an ugly duckling and I will no longer try to do anything to my hair at home. Their prices were way more than fair and reasonable as well. My only tip is to bring in cash because you can’t tip cash on your card. I had to run to a gas station for an ATM because that woman just saved me and I didn’t want her to go with out a tip for her efforts. Julie’s full service salon was absolutely spectacular for my wedding in October!! They truly were an all encompassing service- hair, makeup, and nails. I had my hair trial done at the salon a few weeks prior to the wedding day and although it didn’t turn out exactly as I wanted, they ensured it was to my every likely come the wedding day and even took the time to watch YouTube videos on how to do a low bun updo for long, thick hair. And come wedding day it was absolute perfection!! I couldn’t have wished for anything else. And all the bridesmaids/ mothers loved how their hair was styled as well.

Additionally, the makeup was so natural feeling and made all the girls glow. Nothing was caked on or overdone and any requests/changes were respectfully accommodated.

I originally had my nails done at another salon but when I HATED THEM and knew they would be in every picture I called Julie’s and she fit me in to fix them right away! The nail stylist at Julie’s listened to my every wish and made sure each tip was done to my liking and ensured the base coat was the exact simple neutral color I was going for a my french manicure.

Julie’s was all around AWESOME! I wouldn’t have wanted to welcome anyone else into my home to prep me and my girls/mothers for the biggest day...

It was 3 days before my daughter's wedding and my hair stylist was unable to color my hair so I had been looking for someone that hadn't opening for over a week. I called Julie and explain the situation and she squeezed me in the same day. Jewels was The Stylist that did my hair. She consulted with me, very much listened to what I had to say without me at all, gave me her honest opinion and we came up with three colors that looks gorgeous together and she made them blend so well that even though I went with purple, pearl and Wild Orchid it was beautiful and a perfect fit for the wedding. I love it and so does everyone else! I will definitely be going back as a regular customer and requesting Jewels for as long as I can! Everyone was so kind and friendly, and there's no way any other place would have done three colors, a trim, blow dry and curl along with an eyebrow wax for the same price I guarantee!
