Aldi never disappoints, especially with their DOUBLE satisfaction guarantee on every item. They give you your money back AND replace the item! They have large clean restrooms, clean store with wide isles, best prices you can find on excellent quality food and produce and cashiers that are second to NONE in check out speed and pleasantries. If a line is more than 3-4 deep a new cashier is there usually with the minute! No I am not exaggerating! Some people may not like having to use a quarter to get a shopping cart but you get it back when the cart is returned to the rack. It is actually less of a walk than to return a cart to a cart corral at Meijer or Walmart and there are no carts being blown into you vehicle or left taking up a parking space. Some may not like having to bag your own groceries. Personally, I prefer it, since I can arrange all cold foods together, pantry items, paper goods, produce, and fragile items like eggs and chips. Plus I like that I can snag empty boxes from bins of cardboard boxes or boxes that are empty on the shelves and use those to pack my groceries in, making caring the groceries much more secure than flimsy plastic bags. If you prefer their plastic, paper or insulated bags they are at the checkout line for a nominal cost. I reuse boxes at home for storage or recycle the cardboard or use it to start my wood burner in the colder months. Oh, and don't forget to check out the seasonal and clothing and home item aisles! Great prices on quality goods including cookware and kitchen items, and kids' toys...
Read moreI love Aldi, it's always my "go-to" store. But I have to admit, the customer service isn't quite up to par. I went in happy ( as happy as one can be grocery shopping) but when I made it to the check out the clerks irritation was palpable. Not only did she greet me with a scowl and huff, she was throwing my purchases into the cart after ringing them up, to the point that several items even missed the cart and hit the floor. Other customers kindly retrieved my items and put them in my cart for me while I tried to hurry with my other items to the belt. She was rude and very much did NOT want to be doing what she was there to do. Needless to say, I was no longer in a good mood when I left. I love Aldi, I will continue to shop there. But maybe work on your employees attitude when working with...
Read moreNo problem with grocery needs, however disappointed in management not requiring face coverings. The governors last order stated âpeople are now required to wear face coverings in enclosed public spaces such as Grocery stores if they can medically tolerate itâ Well if they canât tolerate it then THEY SHOULDNâT be there! Theyâre just showing they are as ignorant as our president and VP. Some just donât care about others. I was there today and saw at least 6 people without and didnât bother keeping their distance either. Shame on you for not having the greeter send people away if they donât have a...
