Clearly Explorer — Local services in South Lake Tahoe

We had a fabulous time and a great experience in our clear kayaks! We did the explorer daytime tour and had Maggie as our tour guide. I want to give a huge shout out to Maggie, she is the absolute best and if you get the opportunity to have her as your tour guide, you’ll be in for a huge treat! She does an amazing job of explaining during the tour about all the Lake Tahoe info, has amazing stories (both humorous and mysterious) and takes wonderful photos if you ask her during the tour. The boat crew including Brad, Denise and Denis were also awesome, they do a great job at being knowledgeable, traveling smoothly and safely, and answering questions. If you are on the fence about doing this tour, take the leap, it’s really one of a kind experience and we will definitely be signing up again. You get to access and see so much more of the lake than can be accessed by land or car, It’s a must have activity for those who are visiting Lake Tahoe, for both new people or people that are usually here for the winter...

Were booked to go out with Clearly Tahoe on an afternoon trip but the winds picked up and was too rough to go out. We were lucky enough to be able to move the reservation to a morning two days later. They were very good with working to reschedule our group of ten. The morning we went out was beautiful! Our guide while kayaking was Nadia. She had lots of fun info and was so enjoyable to view the rocks and fish through the clear kayak while floating past such beautiful mountains! Thanks to the whole crew for a fabulous morning of fun! So much fun. I can not swim and surprisingly felt totally comfortable being out on the water. The life jackets provided felt secure, and the guide was very personable and attentive. We all stuck together and it was a great time. Beautiful views, cool stories and facts from the guide, it was an amazing experience.
