Absolutely Immaculate! So check this out. I kayaked out of the Keys bay and once out on Keys Beach disembarked my kayak and began to throw on the snorkel set. As I sat on the sandy shore I couldnt help but notice how clean amd golden the grains were and how photogenic the waves lapping the shore appeared against them. Scooting into the deeper water, I was hoping to find lost items or such but to my dismay the deep clear water provided not asingle man made item. I continued snorkeling west for literally a mile. I was absolutely stunned at how pristene the stretch was. In 1 mile I came across only 2 manmade labels beneath the surface. Besides literally those 2 items, the only human traces I discovered was only scattered grapes and 3 carrots (so random lol) . I am absolutely convinced the residents and visiters to the Tahoe Keys are true to the ideas and efforts of the "Keep Thaoe Blue" mission. 5...
Read morethis is not "keys beach" it is Cove East part of the Upper Truckee Wetlands and marsh which the Tahoe Keys has severely threatened along with the rest of Lake Tahoe with their breeding ground for invasive species of all kinds. Who indeed did have a toxic bloom last year and no closures where ever put in place. The Keys is the biggest manmade ecological disaster on Lake Tahoe not something to be proud of and nothing that is effective is done because the City Council and their friends own houses there-so no matter how they SAY they are "saving Lake Tahoe" they lie because with ALL the protection agencies in this town with their hands out not one has even tried to ban Round-UP or similar pesticides-The Keys is a monumental catastrophe...

The area is going under renovation/revegetation projects so it looks much different than what Google maps shows-lots of grass and flowers...
