This ski shop is conveniently located off HWY 50, making it a great stop if you're headed to Sierra. The owners are super friendly and create a welcoming atmosphere.

That said, I have to deduct a few stars due to the quality of the equipment. I was given a snowboard that felt outdated—likely over 10 years old—and unfortunately, my experience on the mountain reflected that. The board’s edges were extremely dull, which contributed to a bad fall that resulted in a trip to the ER. Given that the rental price was comparable to demo board rates at other resorts, I expected better quality.

Kalotina and her Husband are gems. I had a truly memorable and great experience renting from them.
