Man where do I even start? Upon entering they (older man, older woman & younger girl) were staring at my daughters and I like we looked disgusting but hey some people just have faces like that so I was still giving a fair chance. They didn't let my 11 year old or 3 year old use the bathroom until we bought something and I told the younger girl that my husband would be there in a couple of minutes, but she still had them stand there and wait. The door doesn't lock and is broken with no sign to let you know, so that means anybody could just walk in. Then... we ordered a pizza and 2 drinks(lemonade and coke). The pizza was fine, a bit over priced but got the job done for lunch, but the DRINKS..... the coke felt and tasted EXPIRED. By that, I mean it was so flat and had a weird taste to it which I'm pretty sure was mold. My other daughter that got lemonade immediately said ew on the first sip and said "it tastes like PEE. I'm thinking this girl is exaggerating so I smell it and I am so serious it smelled like URINE. I told her do NOT drink anymore of that. My husband told them it tasted rotten and they offered to replace it. So do NOT trust their fountain drinks AT ALL, they probably don't clean it. Next the three people working ALL have a staring problem. Either that, or they don't like kids because we were all eating and started getting very uncomfortable after they were all taking turns staring at us, when we would look at them they would look away and them stare again. OVER AND OVER. They REALLY need to work on their customer skills because they made the entire experience a negative one with their stank faces and horrible attitudes. Anyways, I read reviews of them over -charging or "mistakingly" charging customers and my family just became one of them. There was a big family that came in as we were finishing up our food so when we were paying our bill they charged us for THE OTHER family's food. We noticed so they refunded us but something doesn't sit right with me about these people so I think they're doing it on purpose to see if they get lucky and if the customer notices they go ahead and refund. THEN... I wanted to take a picture with the snowman they have in the corner and these people ALL got together, started whispering to eachother & stared at us the ENTIRE TIME!! The worst of them was the older woman she must be passed off all the time because once we walked out the door my son crossed their thin little single caution tape that barely even blocks their firepit or whatever that is and she came out and said "WE HAVE THAT BLOCKED OFF THIS ISN'T A SNOWPARK!!" My son is 2. He was touching the snow on the ground barely past the caution tape that isn't even easy to see, maybe add more so its noticeable?? I highly do NOT recommend this place. They need customer curtesy lessons real bad or to just have a different career, or to just smile once in a while. All of the issues are easy fixes so it confuses me why they haven't addressed them yet when they are in a tourist spot! I'm done. This...
Read moreAbsolute WORSE experience I've ever had with a pizza place. It started off with me giving them a call after my food was delivered, realizing they had charged me extra. I based my purchases off of what they had online and the prices they were offering thinking I was getting great prices. (I'm not from around the area) When I called it was the OWNER who answered and I explained my situation thinking there must've just been a slight mistake since the difference was just 6 dollars and some change. After I explained it to her she responded "yeah we haven't updated our online prices in YEARS" and I continued with well that's not really my fault the only reason why I bought some of these items was because of the price you guys had shown if it were different I wouldn't have purchased them. I had to repeat myself over four times because her response, remember this is the OWNER, was well I'm not sure what you want me to do. What!?!? She made ME feel guilty that they were falsely advertising their products! And I told her well I expect the difference because that's what I thought I was paying for and she responded with "well in that case I want my product back" I was absolutely BAFFLED by her response I couldn't believe a so called owner of a food establishment could be so unprofessional!! Keep in mind you guys this was her crazy response over me asking for my difference of in total 6.50 back! After all this back and forth I felt I needed to educate her because she obviously lacked the knowledge that there is an actual law protecting consumers from situations just like these stating that if you're advertising a product with a certain price you have to honor it, it's literally AGAINST THE LAW IN THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA. After I brought up legal matters she said she'll "see what her husband says". Her husband gets on the phone after putting me on hold for probably another 10 minutes and he's completely rude and cutting me off the WHOLE time. He then proceeds to talk to me with sass saying that the prices I said (as if they were made up even though they were on their website) don't even make sense "but whatever" after he asked me if I paid with a card and I said yes he hung up on me while I was in the middle of a sentence. Moral of the story these two obviously don't know how to run a functioning business and obviously don't know how to please their customers because I was absolutely embarrassed that the situation got as out of hand as it did and disgusted with the way the took care of it. Not to mention the food itself was burnt and dry and the brownie I purchased tasted as if it had been in a refrigerator for a month! I will definitely be spreading this message along. You're better off going to...
Read moreMy husband, our little 6 month old & I drove up from Sacramento for the evening and decided to try this pizza joint before we left South Lake to head home. I called in my order “to go” but when we arrived we decided to stay and eat the pizza real quick before our drive since there was NO ONE inside. The younger girl checked us out and we asked for ranch. She said they were .50 each so we asked for 4. We had our friend joined us for some pizza a little while after we got there. He went to pay for his drink and I asked him to get us another ranch. Well, the older lady comes out and has a STANKY attitude. Our friend asked for a ranch and this lady stared at me and goes “Next time if you call in a to go order you cannot dine in here. We are dine in only” I was genuinely confused as the place was empty and were just trying to have a good meal. She continued to give me the stare down and then charged my friend $1.00 for ranch when they charged us .50 earlier. The rest of the time I felt uncomfortable as the older woman & man kept staring at me through the kitchen window thing. Idk if it’s because I’m a Hispanic woman but reading other reviews this behavior isn’t new. It’s unacceptable & no way to treat paying customers. Needless to say, we will not be returning. You guys seriously need some customer service skills & could have handled that so...
