BuyRite Wine & Liquor — Local services in South Orange

The same friendly and helpful owners and staff from A&D liquors moved across the street. They have only been open for a short time and they are still working on getting the shelves fully stocked but you can tell this place is going to be a great addition to South Orange and Maplewood. The store has high ceilings with exposed wooden beams giving it a barn like feel. The back wall of the store is lined with refrigerators filled with a nice selection of craft and large brewery beers. They also have several refrigerators dedicated to wine and hard liquor. The store has a good selection of wines and spirits. The store has an app that allows you to place and pay for orders to be delivered (if you live in the delivery area)...

I've been a South Orange resident for 28 years and a patron of this BuyRite liquor store since it opened; we spend over $2500 annually on wines and spirits at this particular BuyRite. I bought a $200+ bottle of Krug champagne as a gift on a Friday, but ended up returning it on the following Monday (to the same employee) because the intended recipient doesn't drink alcohol. Not only would BuyRite not refund my purchase, they didn't even offer me a store credit. This is not how you engender customer loyalty for otherwise commodity goods...I will be taking my business to the Wine Library in Millburn/Short Hills going forward. We all deserve greater consideration and customer...

This family owned store has really increased their inventory since moving to the new building. If there is something you are looking for that they don't have, they will try to get it for you.
