I am almost finished with my intro to wheel throwing class and I loved it so much I signed up for a fall session as well. JoAnn is an amazing teacher and is so easy to work with and a passionate instructor. All the people I've had interactions with have been easy to talk to and very helpful. You can use as much clay as you like to practice your craft and each class session also comes with the opportunity to attend open studio sessions. I have wanted to take a class on pottery on a wheel for forever and am so glad to have taken my first one here! The studio is bright and the atmosphere is welcoming from the moment you walk in. The class itself was fantastic as well! Lindsey taught my class on intro to wheel and instructions were clear and easy to follow. It’s limited in the number of students so the lessons felt very personable and easy to get feedback on how to improve. There is a lot of freedom to be creative as well.

I have been taking classes at Clay for the last year and have had a wonderful experience. I have had classes with 3 different instructors and all of them have helped me improve my skills. I have learned how to create/glaze and completed over 30 pieces including bowls, mugs, vases, pitchers, plates, and planters. The people I have met in class are so fun and creative.
