Doug Woog Arena — Local services in South Saint Paul

The ice is on rink 2 is consistently trash. It's only matched in atrociousness by the ignoramuses that work there. In my over 25 years of playing hockey I have never had a rink employee open the Zamboni door while the game was in play, except here. It has happened four times in the last six months or so. Not only is it dangerous, it's incomprehensibly rude. Our league consistently plays the last game of the night and the a-holes that work there are more concerned with getting off the clock than with the safety of players that spend hundreds of dollars on ice time. I will never play here again, and I advise any other adult hockey leagues to boycott this...

This was our first trip to the arena. It is an older arena but it is great condition. The consession stand was good and the staff was very nice. It had good handicap parking and a good entry way. I did not give 5 stars for 2 reasons, I did not see anywhere to get skates sharpened and it was VERY cold in rink #2 and the heaters over the bleachers were not on.
