Nice area with lots of beautiful views and plenty of work. I've lived here most of my life. When I was a teen we used to go camping in the local canyons. Back then it was way better. We could hang out and party and when we were done just throw down are sleeping bags and go to sleep almost anywhere. Now days I think you have to be at least a half mile or more off the road in most places or pay more for a spot or cabin or lodge, But there are some areas like American fork canyon that still have free camping close to the road.
