A simple phone call from the owner would have sufficed instead of a long drawn out response to my review. If there was confusion on how to decorate the colors of pixie dust on the cupcakes especially if you had a temp take the order who wouldn't know really what she was doing, as you state in your response, then I don't understand why a phone call to me wasn't made to easily answer/clarify any confusion and provide the picture which was declined by your temp ("it's perfectly clear as to what you want, easy enough" she said). I was told emmeline was the decorator by your staff. Normally, your company does a great job executing beautiful cakes and cupcakes which is why I called a month later to just find out what happened. I didn't want anything further to be done, you did what you could which was refund the order, I just wanted an understanding as to what took place. But that left me with a disappointed 5 yr old girl on her birthday so I kind of wanted an explanation as to what the heck happened. so when my call was returned, I was stunned by how aggressive Emmeline was and that she informed me that I didn't make myself clear as to what I wanted. I'm pretty sure, "obnoxiously sparkly rainbow pixy dust covered cupcakes in different colors of the rainbow, doesn't matter how many of each color, just a variety of colors, some red, some blue, etc." I even said, "I don't care if they're awful tasting as long as they're over the top sparkly, colorful and look like a fairy threw up pixy dust all over them." The girl even laughed when I said that. I'm not sure how much clearer I could have been. White cupcakes with 15 sprinkles of rainbow sugar on top doesnt come close to what I described just now as well as on the phone when placing my order. I didn't want nonedible products put on 5 year old girl cupcakes which is what's sold in decorating supply stores. Put sugar in the oven with food coloring for 15 minutes and you would have had your product. And instead of a phone call from the owner, or I guess-the actual decorator (why did emmeline even call me??? If she had nothing to do with it), or a call when there was confusion when decorating them, we have my review, a drawn out response from the owner and now my rebuttal to her response. Ugh, I'm over it. They're just cupcakes And my review is based on my experience. Original review: Absolutely a disappointing experience. I ordered cupcakes to look like pixie dust with an array of the colors of the rainbow and very glittery and sparkly. What I got was white frosting with about 15 sprinkles of rainbow sprinkles. My daughter could have done a better job. I had to run to the store to whip something up to make them look better. But they couldn't be salvaged. They truly were awful. I offered to send a picture when I placed my order, but was told "No" they understood what I was requesting and it would be easy. When I spoke to Emmeline about my disappointment, she was very aggressive and rude. I absolutely would never recommend Emmeline to do any cake/cupcake decorating there. Maybe another decorator there, or another company...
