Walgreens — Local services in Southborough

Unfortunate that my Husband and I had the worst experience with the photo manager today. I have been going to this Walgreens for years to print out our photos. But never again!!

I am sure that the staff has no right to be looking through the photo images and making judgement on the requirements needed for our wedding photos. Manager tried to require us to provide a release for our photos. We have had many other photos printed from our photographer and never experienced any issues in the past.

When asked to refer to the Walgreens policy the manager advised that it is the law and failed to inform us as customers the reason why we could not retain the product we purchased.

We wasted our time and even reviewed our contract to see if there is any language stating we cannot print our photos. Our contract does spell out the right to download and print the photos we paid thousands of dollars for.

So the store is at a convenient location. That’s positive. The issue I had with the store is that I made an online order to purchase 3 bottles of hand soaps and tried to use a coupon, which online checkout accepted. I was also charged for the correct amount online at the point of purchase. When I pick up my order, my 3 bottles of hand soaps turned into one bottle. And the store manager told me he, without my permission, cancelled my order due to “low inventory” and created a new order of 1 bottle at original price. I am very disappointed in how the store can simply manipulate the online order I paid for and make an order I didn’t make and charge my card. This is simply not the right way to do business. Bad attitude of the store staff. Me and wife had put 2 separate orders of gift tag with coupons which we both received, so first I had to wait 10 min at the booth for someone to come and provide me the pick-up and when executive came, he gave 1 set and said other set cannot be given to same household. I challenged him on this policy as online system allows ordering and me and my wife both received the coupons and I asked him to let me talk to manager but executive said you cannot talk to manager at this time.
