We had the absolute pleasure of working with Sentie’s Kitchen to cater a special community event — Uganda to Boston — bringing together runners, cultural leaders, and guests from all over the world ahead of the 2025 Boston Marathon.

Sentie went above and beyond to deliver an incredible spread that showcased the richness of Ugandan cuisine. Guests were raving about every bite — from the flavorful samosas, rolex, and chicken stew, to the delicious coconut rice, chapati, beans, and fried plantains. His attention to flavor, authenticity, and presentation truly made our event unforgettable.

Beyond the food, Sentie and his team served with pride and professionalism. Their delivery was timely, setup was smooth, and their hospitality made everyone feel welcome.

Okay. Let me start with my favorite. The chaps! I’m introducing you to a lifetime delicacy here (you’re welcome). If you have no allergies to eggs, minced meat and flour… just head there and ask for chaps. You will never stop eating them. My second favorite is chapatis (think fried dough) if you eat paratha, roti, garlic bread, and whatever fried dough you love, chapatis are the moist version and may I add, freshly made. Just one is a whole meal when paired with beans, beef or chicken stew. And third, just go. You will find something you like. Just tell them what you usually like and they will give you options.

Oh, I got one more. Buy the spiced oil you can add to ANY sauce to make savory....

A hidden gem outside Boston, in metrowest! This place gives the ultimate east african vibes filled with mouth watering dishes. Looking for something unique to tickle your taste buds, then this is it. The Samosa's are amazing with the cilantro sauce! The smoked meat/chicken is the ultimate twist to American barbecue. The kebabs and chaps are awesome 👌 The menu requires multiple visits to lock in your fav comfort food. Make sure to try out this restaurant!
