Southborough Golf Center (A Trackman Range) — Local services in Southborough

Have been coming weekly for the last couple of months and usually have a great experience. I’ve seen other reviews about a similar situation and I’m assuming this must be the same worker because last night was the first time I’ve had an experience with him. Hours have been until 8 pm, and I knew that they were switching after Labor Day. Online still said 8 pm for last night and switching to 7 for today. I got there before 630, and stood and waited while the worker vacuumed for five minutes - then he told me I was cutting it close and made a big stink about it being 630 even though according to him last bucket was at 630, which I was on time for. Drove 35 minutes to hit some balls. Site says open year round and the gate was locked at 12pm when the site and phone message reflects (open at 11am) I parked outside the locked gate and watched 6 vehicles pull up and laugh at the false advertisement. I guess the jokes on me.

Update: Shortly after I posted a 1 star review Mr Hightower reached out to me explaining why SGC was closed for the past few days and wanted to apologize for the inconvenience. No need for apology, I understand the freezing temperatures needed to subside before reopening. Grateful for the reach out and the complimentary bucket the next time...

Owners/employees are rude and obnoxious. I bought my medium bucket and there was a huge basket of balls near the door, so I assumed that topping off my bucket was OK (it is at numerous other ranges I go to). I grabbed a handful, which was met with "What the are you doing?". I put the balls down. "Can I not top off:?", I asked, which was met wit a loud shouted "NO!!!!". A rude and unpleasant exchange.
