The staff I met at the scout shop put my mind almost entirely at ease. In addition to being super friendly and knowledgeable about the store's excellent and comprehensive stock, Bill shared his own experiences and talked about how things had changed and what the modern requirements and activities were like. For the first time I experienced discrimination at the scouting shop. I thought inclusiveness is one of the important concepts in scouting. The older male in the staff only knows to speak with people with certain group of people. He acts as if other people came to get something that belongs to him forcefully. Robert Baden Powell founded scouting movement for a different reason. If that older male does not know that he does not even deserves wear the scouting uniform.
