Norman's Jewelry is my favorite jewelry store in the world, and I say that having shopped on 6 continents. The prices and customer service cannot be beat. I will never shop for jewelry anywhere else. Men, if you don't know what or where to buy jewelry for your girlfriend, fiancee or wife, go to Norman's. You will get expert help, the best prices anywhere, and she will not be disappointed. This is not an average jewelry store, but an upscale friendly, family owned store - several generations of jewelers. Norman's is best place to buy new and also pre-owned jewelry, have custom jewelry made, attain appraisals, and have repairs done. The store has an extensive inventory with many new irresistible items to view each time I visit. Nick is honest, extremely knowledgable, trustworthy, genuine, and a delight to work with. In the last 6 months I've purchased a spectacular Jubilee Diamond Dial Mens Rolex, a Gorgeous Mens Diamond Ring, Extraordinary high end Stunning Diamond Ring set, very special Gold Mens Bracelet, 2 Beautiful Fur Mink Coats, a very large fabulous Amethyst Geode, and a Signed Framed Professional Artist Painting which was shipped to Florida and arrived in pristine condition, so there are no worries shopping online. Everything appraised at least double the purchase price and most items appraised at 3 & 4 times my purchase price. Also lovely earrings, charms & gifts. I had a necklace repaired along with my mothers rings resized, a watch battery replaced, all by their fast, skilled, excellent onsite jeweler. I’ve been to Norman’s Jewelry & Loan three separate times, and not once have I successfully sold anything to them. Each visit has been more frustrating than the last.

First visit: I brought in an authentic Tiffany & Co. 0.25 ct engagement ring, complete with original paperwork and boxes. The owner took one look at it and told me it had zero value, claiming the diamond was worth $40 “in his eyes.” This wasn’t just dismissive—it was borderline insulting given the brand and condition.

Second visit: I brought in multiple David Yurman diamond pendants and bracelets, again with all the original documentation and boxes. This time, the owner refused to even make an offer, saying I’d be “disappointed” because he could get diamonds like those cheap, and the gold/silver wasn’t anything special. This is premium designer jewelry we’re talking about—his attitude made it clear he had no interest in fair valuation.

Third visit: I walked in at 5:17 PM (they close at 6), only to be told the owner had already left for the day. No one else could price anything—they were only selling. So essentially, I wasted my time again because they don’t operate with consistency or professionalism.

Bottom line: If you’re hoping for fair offers or respectful service, don’t waste your time here. Norman’s is clearly not interested in quality items unless they can severely undercut you. I’ll be taking my business elsewhere—and I suggest you...

After some less than ideal visits to other jewelry stores in the area with pushy salesmen, we finally found Norman’s. My girlfriend, now fiancé, wanted to create a custom engagement ring after not having found one she really liked while shopping around. We met with Nick, who does Norman’s custom work and he was a breath of fresh air! Nick was AMAZING!! He went over every option and detail and above everything else, wanted to make sure we got exactly what we wanted. He was NEVER pushy about literally anything and his clarifying questions put us at ease since we hadn’t thought about every little detail. He sourced a few stones for us to look at and choose from and they were beautiful and high quality! We picked one but I’m sure if we wanted more options he would’ve happily ordered more to look at! After the initial consultation and choosing the stone(s), he sent us engineering CAD to show us exactly what the ring would look like. The CAD was super helpful and even though we felt great about what he sent us, he still offered for us to call if we had any questions or concerns. The ring is beautiful and the whole process ended up being better than we imagined possible with such bad luck in the beginning.
