I try to stop here occasionally even I have to go out of my way to go home from work. I worried it would go under after Meijer came in. I wanted to pick up drinks for around the pool. The bottom row of seltzers had $18.99 signs stuck all along the bottom row. I grabbed a vodka seltzer off the second shelf and one of the bottom. Got a couple other items and checked out. I was loading my cart so didn't see until she handed me the receipt it was $107. I looked the seltzers rang up at $19.99 and $36.99. I asked her to refund them and keep them. She sent me the courtesy desk. They refused and said only if marked wrong. I told them all the signs said $18.99. she came back and said I was wrong the prices were there. I said visible? She hesitated then said yes. They outright lied and I have no idea why. I admit the $19.99 was most likely ok. It was a different shelf but not the other. I didn't ask them to sell it to me at $18.99 I just asked for my money back. I no longer worry about if they go out of business. I don't care. I will stick to Meijer. Prices are cheaper anyway and it's on my way home. No driving ten miles out of my way to worry about people who don't care about...
Read moreThroughout this COVID shutdowns I have yet to boycott a business,but after the way I was treated yesterday I am done with this store. The employees are rude and not helpful at all, I've tried to be understanding with what I'm sure they are going through right now but I'm done. Today I stood in line for 45 minutes waiting to get inside to return my cans/bottles. There was only one person ahead of me when I got there and he went in 5 minutes after I pulled up. There is no way he took 40 minutes to return his bags of cans/bottles. I'm sure whomever was in charge of coming to get the next person forgot about us. When an employee came out to get the carts, she apologized in a very condescending manner then told me NOW is not really a good time to be returning cans/bottles. WHATEVER! I usually shop there at least once a week, not anymore. Went to Leppinks in Newaygo last night...returned my cans/bottles with no issue, cashed them in with no attitude and spent another $75 in groceries after that. Read moreI came into the store tonight to buy my groceries and I have an issue fixed with being overcharged for a buy one get one free. I asked the supposed store manager to correct an issue which she did not and became very rude with slamming her fingers against the cashier screen. I asked to make a complaint and told her to forget about the money and what the store manager's name and phone number was which she refused. I then called the store and spoke to somebody that was going to take my complaint as I was standing there the same cashier did not realize that I was behind her and started to bad mouth me to the other cashier. I am appalled I spend minimum $400 a week at the store which I will no longer be doing. After 5:00 p.m. at this store becomes nothing but a crap show.
