Stopped by here last night on a weeknight with my little girl while on a daddy/daughter date. The Philly Cheesesteak restaurant in the front of the building was open, but the bowling alley was not. We didn't realize this, and the bowling alley door happened to be unlocked.
We walked in and everything was dark. About to turn around and walk out when we noticed a worker up near the front by the Philly Cheesesteak place. I got his attention and asked him about bowling, and he told me he'd be happy to fire the place up--just for my little girl and I!! Incredible.
Guy cranked up all the lights, the disco balls, neon signs, and even threw a few credits in the jukebox for us. We had the whole place to ourselves--just my little girl and I. Really reasonable prices, and friendly, down-home customer service.
This place ain't fancy--if you want new and shiny, it's not for you. But if you can appreciate a throwback, retro bowling alley that will put you on a trip down memory lane back to your childhood, than you're in luck. Friendly customer service, and an affordable place to bring the family and spend a couple hours. I will be back with my wife...
