I've shown support for the Knot Hole for over 6 years and recommend to anyone I know that crafts. It is getting hard to compete with yarn skeins and fabric though, walmart is $1.99-7.99 and here its $7.99-15.99 for the same color and brand skein and patterns . Went in for some colors Wal-Mart doesn't have and got a nice 20% off (Black Friday). I've shopped in person, ordered items in store through their catalog but never seem to be remembered. I do try to open conversation, talk about family or open doors for discussion but dont get much in return which does make me sad. It is mainly a store for textile and jewelry making equipment. The reason for my low rating of said store is that the supplies is overpriced. This issue was so obvious that when I looked at the prices of things there would be two price tags. One of the tags would be the normal sale price and the other, the one corresponding to Knot Hole would have a mark-up. It has a huge array of craft supplies and fabric, organized exceptionally well to make maximum use of the space and provide a one-stop (small business) shopping experience. I noticed there were several reviews that commented unfavorably on the extent of greeting, conversation, or help provided (i.e., not as much as desired), but I'd like the owners to know there are customers like me for whom that is just fine - if I need something, I'll ask for it.
