Over the years it feels like this place gets more and more lackluster. Today I went to the spearfish DQ to get 2 boxes of dilly bars. I needed to do 2 orders as I was paying with 2 cards. The lady at the drive through told me they don’t usually do 2 separate orders so but then told me she would just do it. Okay that’s fine. I get to the drive through and she tells me “we don’t usually do 2 orders because our drive through is too small” okay kinda makes sense a little confusing as I was the only car in the drive through at the moment. I used to work at a DQ a few years back and 2 orders was easy. For my 2 orders it’s especially easy. Press a button and push the order through, same for 2nd one. Then she told me “because like we could have a long line” I was like “…okay” By the time I handed her the first card, there was another car in the drive through. Shouldn’t have been much of an issue though as our orders were already in. The lady also didn’t tell me either of the totals. Wish spearfish DQ would hire people with less of an attitude… gonna stick to Belle Fourche DQ...
Read moreTonight was the last time we will be back. Our orders have been wrong every time we have come, when it comes to food, but we still came back to give them chances. Employees need to be aware that there are food allergies and plain dislikes. I run a restaurant and know how it goes. But this has just been total lack of care of paying customers requests. Unhappy not returning customer.
Went back to have it fixed. They assured us it was correct this time, and upgraded our fries to larges. Well what we got were two chicken strips on buns instead of the crispy chicken filet! Like are you kidding me!! So, I went back to let them know, and they really had nothing to say other then, ok, we can make them again, it'll take 5 mins. I was going to ask for my money back, because what we got is not 20 dollars worth of food!! I will be sending in a major complaint to the store owner, hopefully they understand how you run a business and know how to fix the problem.

He wants the 5 buck lunch, girl behind the counter tells him he has to take his ice cream sundae before his meal. He asks why, and she tells him that "the big whigs changed it last July." She was a snot about it too. Obviously, she was not raised to speak to her elders in a proper manner. I was completely offended. Dad and mom both tried to explain to her that they have been here many times since July and all she says is "do you want it or not?" I mean damn, someone re-train her. Who serves dessert before lunch? They bring out the order, its wrong. By now dad is so pissed,he just eats the wrong lunch so we can just get out of there. By the way, a chicken strip that is under two inches long is not a strip. That's a nugget. Clue up DQ. You just lost loyal customers. One last thing. Put ice melt out.
