Walgreens — Local services in Spencer

I have a friend i am trying to help who is desperately looking for things to help her sick baby and one thing she was recommended said it was here so i called and spoke to a "manager" lynn who was very short and rude. Iasked if they carried the stuff in a certain form she said no i said well the internet said you have it she said well the internet doesnt know which location i said oh well it said this location and before i could ask her if they had it at all in any form she mumbled something and hung up on me. I called back and asked for a manager she then said she was a manager so i asked her my question and she rudely told me no maybe somewhere else and i said well that was a little nore professional and she sarcastically thanked me. Very disrespectful and careless. My intention is to help a friend and get info clearly her intent was to get off the phone and get home and not takr her job working in a pharmacy serious or with any considerations for people in need. Only one thing i ever complain about people not wanting to do their job with respect. You can be slow unsure anything but rude and un willing to help. No excuse for being this way if you treat people this way face to face then you need a different position or job. Shoukd I thank you for delaying my prescription and putting it on hold for multiple days.Thank you for providing long wait times and constant inconveniences that require me to call and hound you to take care of the things. When you do call me, you want until 5pm preventing me from calling my doctor and trying a different pharmacy therefore FORCING me to continue to do business with you when I could have transferred this prescription a long time ago to another pharmacy 🙄

Update: this review is still true, this is still an ongoing problem 5 months later. This pharmacy constantly delays prescriptions and wait until almost 5pm to inform customers of anything preventing you from calling your doctor! They LOVE to close the inside lobby pharmacy and ask for paperwork that they already have on file. This is one of the most inefficient pharmacies I have ever encountered. My doctor calls in my refills and they find some way to delay it......every month, I wrote this review 5 months ago and they are still doing the same thing! Yeah I worked in a pharmacy over 20 years ago and that was before we had all this fancy technology that we have nowadays I know exactly how long it takes to put a couple pills in a bottle and make phone call to get the prescription for those couple pills It takes like 5 minutes so when I called an hour and a half before and asked him if they could transfer prescription over to fill it and I'm paying cash and they say they can't do it till tomorrow That's pretty crappy when it's people's lives you're technically dealing with...
