Suds N Duds — Local services in Spiro

Overall, and considering it's one of the very few laundromats in the area, it's not too bad. It's fairly clean (could be cleaner), fairly reasonably priced (I've seen better), and it could definitely stand to be bigger. If it's busy, you'll be waiting for a machine to open up. They only have (1) 4x load washer, and then they get smaller from there. I use this place to wash my blankets and sheets because my personal machine is too small to handle them. The dryers are ok, not great, but ok. They get really warm, but not really hot. So it might take a few cycles to get your clothes or, in my case, bed clothes dry. The price isn't horrible, like I said, but it's not the greatest either. It costs $8 for the 4x load machine, $.50 per 7 minute dry cycle on the 4x dryers (they only have 3 of them), and $.25 per 5 minute dry cycle on the other dryers. Like I said above, it's not a horrible place overall. However, it's also not the greatest. Especially if you need to do several loads at once fairly often. There are better places that can accommodate bigger and more loads of laundry, for about the same price or cheaper just across the state line in Ft. Smith, AR. Come spend a fortune to do your laundry here where the machines are always working and it's always very clean. Meet some of the friendly locals and catch up on the latest neighborhood gossip. Ask about either of our fast food places next door and why we chose to block any less expensive fast food chains and you will be met with replies of confusion because we don't even know. Maybe visit one of the 10 or 15 or idk how many weed stores we threw up within a 2.2 square mile radius or even one of the many many gas stations that we have too many of as well. Just watch out for the local boys in blue because they will pull you over for no reason whatsoever and then make up a reason. Great...

First time using Suds & Duds. Wouldn't come back, except it's the only one near me! The place where you put the soap was disgustingly dirty! You put clean soap in where there is heavens knows how many layers of dirty built up soap, how clean do you think your clothes are going to be? PLEASE clean out the soap dispensers when your done washing... cause apparently that's the only way they're gonna get clean!! One of the washers my mom used, ripped her off twice, and $4 per load ain't cheap!! There was no one there to complain to?? I also agree with other patrons who posted about the lack of facilities. Ain't saying I'm old, but when you gotta go......
