Betty’s Cafe — Restaurant in Spiro

We were having a good time then all the sudden the boss RANDY came out with a young girl and started rather aggressively telling her all the things she’s doing wrong and then when she tried to speak he stopped her abruptly and continued with the brow beating Then she started crying and he didn’t stop and we were here trying to enjoy our meal with this guy brow beating a girl publicly and not leaving a single detail out.

He could have done that in the back I don’t care what she may or may not have done we didn’t want to hear it and It’s improper to brow beat someone publicly and rather loudly may I add Actually doing that in the back is wrong to as the manner in which he did it was demeaning and not of conduct

He wanted to show himself out and seem like the cool commanding boss but all it did was embarrass that girl and make us feel very uncomfortable.

Then the manager lady that wasn’t even serving us walked in and “checked on us” But it was obvious she was just wanted to see the action with the girl getting brow beaten she didn’t care about us she seemed to have a rather satisfied look to her face as the girl got chewed...

First time customer and last for me. Ordered 2 chicken fried steaks..one with mashed potatoes and okra and one with green beans. I would be embarrassed to serve someone such a measly amount of sides. The chicken fried steak was mostly orange breading and way too salty. The small amount of meat was tough. The mashed potatoes & gravy was pretty much what you'd expect from a fast food restaurant but fair amount. The tiny amount of green beans were shriveled up and looked as though they had been cooking all day and no seasoning. The okra was fair but there was so little of it. I laughed at the side containers but we obviously will not be back. I sure hope they do better for people in the future because this was a waste of money and an embarrassment. Spend your time and money elsewhere this place...

WARNING DON'T GO !!!!! !!!!EXTREMELY AWFUL!!!!Avoid open hot beef dinner not sure if it was even beef was like sandwich slices they put in microwave to heat up was like rubber and instant gravy.... over cooked french fries and a dinner salad with home made thousand island dressing that wasn't right and that was just my lunch not going to say much about the rest of my group but they didn't like food either warning don't go as far as I no there is no other restaurants in town other than yours besides Mexican food I did tell the waitress it was awful she said that's how we make it yuk microwave food if this is the best in town don't go just making excuses for crappy food and I only make reviews for places...
