Ink Injection — Local services in Spring

I went here several months ago to get one of my lobes pierced. Chelsea for the most part was great. My partner and I loved her personality. When she asked me if I wanted a stud or a hoop in my ear I asked her further about the hoop. She said she thought the hoop would look cuter since it would be a single lobe, and I agreed with her. She also said that it would be easier to sleep on than the stud. Taking what she said into consideration, I went with the hoop. Looking in the mirror, I was happy with it. It was really cute!

However, after several months, it still wasn’t healed. I was still waking up with dried blood behind my ear, and the piercing site being sore and uncomfortable. I thought maybe it was just taking a bit longer to heal, but after several months of dried blood behind my ear and still no progress of healing I decided to change it into a stud. Only then did my ear start to heal.

I felt like an idiot for blindly trusting something that a well-qualified experienced piercer told me.

I’m curious why someone who has been piercing for so long would recommend a hoop for anyone they are piercing, when it is known to delay the healing process due to it constantly moving around. It increases risk for infection as well.

I also went to get my navel pierced. The guy who pierced me barely spoke to me, and barely checked my anatomy before piercing me. After he was done, I had to ask him for proper aftercare instead of him just telling me. It felt very awkward and I felt like I wasn’t wanted there.

A few months later, my piercing rejected, and it is likely going to leave a scar. Of course there could be a bunch of reasons for it rejecting, but I honestly don’t know if it worked for my anatomy to begin with.

TLDR: Don’t go here. Don’t get pierced here. This place has a problematic past (filter by the lowest reviews) and their piercers are...

Love everything about Ink Injections! I went in for a nose piercing in June. Received great service from Chelsea. Always friendly, and very little wait time (no appointment just walked in). I had previously gotten it done from another shop who messed it up pretty bad (placement and angle) so Chelsea made sure she had the placement just right. Now everything has healed up and has given me zero problems. I went in again last night (Sunday) with no appointment for a small tattoo (my first). Waited not even an hour before being taken back by Chris. He was funny, and again super friendly and great service. I was really comfortable the whole time and was never nervous.but the best part is obviously my tattoo. Chris made sure to get everything right. He replaced it for me 3 different times to make sure it was perfect and gave me all of his professional opinions about it which really helped since it was my first time getting a tattoo. I showed him a font that wasn't on his computer so together we picked a different one and he stenciled in all of the parts from the original font that I liked. And it looks so wonderful! This shop comes highly recommended by numerous friends who have had work done here. We came today for my son. Chels did my 10 year old son’s earring today and she was wonderful! The placement is excellent, and she was so kind and patient. She lay out everything and opened the floor for questions or concerns and made us very comfortable. She really did a great job maintaining his confidence and she was informative and clean/safe. The shop was clean and required a birth certificate for him, and an ID for him and I both to make sure that I was his parent. Very nice shop… clean, easy to get into, nice on the phone, and took all the steps to do things the proper way. As a parent knowing that gun piercings aren’t the best option and a professional piercer is ideal, I did a lot of research before picking the shop we went to, and I’m so glad I went with this one. They made this mama feel like I made a responsible and safe choice, which means everything when you’re the client, but even more when your child is the client. Very satisfied. We will be back!
