My wife and I have had an extremely arduous ordeal. From the moment of checking in, it appeared that we had been booked for 2 rooms under 2 different names. I showed them 1 confirmation number, and was advised to make sure with the online travel company, that my card was not double charged. Shortly after, the front desk realized that both names were under the same confirmation number, and blamed it on a "glitch" in the system. At that point I was assigned room 209 and given the card key. Later that night while getting comfortable in the room, someone else, successfully with their own card key, tried to enter the room 209 and very promptly left. When we called the front desk and explained what happened, apologies were given, and it was, again, blamed on a glitch in the system. The following morning, Sunday 5/23/21, I went outside at approximately 8:15am. When coming back to the room, I found that my room 209 card key was not working. I don't know if that's attributable to the glitch in the system. That situation was able to be handled at the front desk, but in an uncourteous, non customer service friendly type of way. Furthermore, we felt as if we were being rushed out by the cleaning crew while we had the do not disturb sign on before our checkout time period. Several attempts were made to come into the room. Read moreI should have read reviews before I went there! My GOD!!! I had a handicapped room, initially. It had roaches. I told them, they moved me to a second-floor room with even more ROACHES! They were coming in/out as though the roaches had paid to rent the room. Then, I guess the "manager", said that "they had just bought the hotel and would exterminate. I couldn't sleep ALL night trying to keep nasty, disease-carrying ROACHES off me! THEN, some slow-minded desk clerk had the gall to defend this hell hole and say, well, "There's no way to get in touch with Management!" She was lying. I then said, "well, I want my money back and I will seek counsel if it isn't returned as quickly as you took it out of my bank!" (They said I could pay once I left. Also, no breakfast, which I wouldn't have wanted anyway. YUK!) Unless they bought the hotel that day, they lied about knowing the roaches infected that property! Some of these people looking for a get rich quick scheme are filthy AND too cheap themselves! You have to spend money to make it! We were there to visit a sick relative. Read moreMy husband is a truck driver and this was the first time me riding along. We stopped here after going for 2 day trip and no shower. I was yearning for a good shower, as so was my husband. The front desk clerk was so nice he also moved his car so my husband’s 18 wheeler could park, taking about 10 car spots. We checked in got our room mind you I was so wanting a shower. I always inspect the rooms at any hotel, no matter if it’s a 5 star. First thing i went straight to the shower not inspecting the room, I check the shower I see hairs in the corners of the tub, then I noticed the floor not swept. So I was like let me not be be pickey. After I showered I went and checked the bed ( thank God I did) the pillow had a bed bug!!!!!! The sheet had a big yellow stain!!!! Then there was a cockroach on the night stand, then by the coffee table on the floor there was what seemed like blood and some clear fluid! I promise we are not the kind of people that like to complain, but this was disgusting!!! We immediately left, no way we were staying.
