Theiss Farms Market — Local services in Spring

Plenty of local choices for things like jams, honey, and signs. It's a little early in the summer to judge the fruit because they'd have to be picked early. Last year towards harvest time, I bought some super tasty fruit! Since it's local, expect to pay more than super markets.

They also have a shaved ice stand that make awesome snowcones! The worker is very giving with toppings and cream which makes all the difference. I even saw that she poked a hole with a straw and put cream all in the snowcone instead of just on top. That attention to detail...

This is the 2nd year we've bought our Christmas tree from the Theiss Farms Market. They have the BEST trees in town. We keep our tree for 6 weeks, so it's always important to us to find fresh trees. This place offers the best customer service. The gentleman stayed late for us, and then even offered to take our family photo while we stood by our car (with our new tree). I love this place, though a bit pricey 4 myself usually everything is home grown, but not at this time of year. They do ( right now) have a lovely assortment of fresh herbs, & those at $ 2.00 is a bargain. The large chain nursery / home stores their Bonnie herbs are near $2.00 each. As spring turns into summer Theiss will have a much broader selection of homegrown items. They do have year round local jams & honeys. YOU CANT GO...
