This unassuming place with very little signage tucked in an unassuming strip needs to be experienced if you get the chance. Yes, they have kolaches and, of course, donuts. They also have tacos of some sort. These are all fresh and very well made. The glaze is never messy (as if the neatness of a donut matters). Frosting on donuts is consistent and consistently good. But the absolute best item Donut Palace carries is their apple fritter. I’ve had a few in my life. And I know some of their regulars who have had a few all over the world. These are, without a doubt, the most exceptional apple fritters I have ever had. They are the perfect combination of delectable crusty on the outside and tender, warm goodness in the inside. A warning: they sometimes go fast, so you may have to arrive early to get your hands on something that could possibly be a life elevating, if not life...

The owners are 2 of the nicest people, my family and I have ever met. For 24 years they have put their own blood, sweat, and doe into this wonderful family welcoming establishment.

But recently their Strip center got bought out and the new owner of the strip center just INCREASED their RENT substantially. So much that they dont know if they will be able to stay open given the fact that buisness has slowed over the past year. I told them I would tell as many people as I could and put the word out!!!! Donut Palace rocks! All their stuff is super fresh and super delicious. The owners are the sweetest people ever and know returning customers orders and have seen customers kids grow up. In response to the review about her kids getting told to hurry up.....well it's kind of common sense and courtesy that when you go somewhere to order.....you know what you want, especially if you see a huge line after you. If you don't know, you should pull your kids to the side and tell them hurry up so that you can order and get out of there. The weekends are extremely busy and lots of people have to go to church. You shouldn't blame the owners for the lack of parenting. If my kid is being a brat and taking too long..then they don't get donuts. Go to Donut Palace...support...
