AT&T Store — Local services in Springfield Township

One of the worst retail and customer service encounters I have EVER had! The store manager was rude, condescending and disinterested in helping me. He even had the audacity to take a personal call during our transaction. He did not excuse himself nor did he ask if it would be OK to get on and speak personally too I assume a friend while I stood there. Further, He would not honor a trade-in value that was given to me for my old phone. The data transfer was taking long, so I was asked if I would take my phone home and allow the transfer to happen there so that I could allow space in the store for other customers. At this time that branch is only allowing one customer in the store due to Covid restrictions. Not wanting to tie up their store, I happily went home in good faith to make the transfer. At no time was it disclosed that by holding onto my phone that the trade-in value could decrease if I were to bring the phone back at a later date. Then when i said that i would like to speak with s someone higher up like a district or regional manager, he told me he could not give me that information. He would file a claim for me if i were to leave my email, but at this point he had let other customers in (against the store’s COVID policy) and he needed to work with them. So my 3 four friends and I walked into this place yesterday afternoon, and one of my friends wanted to find a case for her phone, but it was a android phone and one of the people that worked there said “no we don’t have that kind of case” while they were laughing and mocking on one of my friends, saying “haha you have an Android you probably can’t afford an iPhone” which was very unprofessional and RUDE!!! You guys just Lost 4 customers GOODBYE NEVER COMING...

I came in to pay my bill and the service was extremely fast. I recommend any customer to stop in and enjoy the great customer service they offer. The experience was way better than the corporate store where I have to wait at least an hour just to be taken care of.
