Walmart — Local services in Upper Chichester Township

Love this place, I mean who doesn't honestly, right?! One store you can basically buy any and EVERY darn thing you need at once? Can't beat it, or the prices. They've actually price matched my fiance one time when he mentioned he saw something cheaper somewhere else, I'm not entirely sure if they Always do this or not though. I do wish however that the one that's the closest to me (or even the 2 that are the closest actually, were one of the stores that also have fresh meats too. That would make this store even MORE than 5 stars in my opinion. But it definitely deserves 5 stars all day for having everything from clothes and shoes for the entire family to kitchen/ bathroom essentials to sports gear and toys, even everything you'd need for your car as well. I literally end up getting a good amount of our groceries there, if it had the mattress and fruits and veggies too, I wouldn't have the need to even go elsewhere for anything, because that's the Only things I end up getting other places. The ONLY thing I feel is kind of maybe not the very BEST thing would have to be the fact that if you have children, and they're with you, definitely count on spending a little extra money for sure! They have so much stuff they'll see and "Need", because they're going to pass a ton of cool things that every child ranging from infants (all you'd want and/or may need, obviously they aren't going to be asking for anything) to toddlers (who absolutely Will be probably actually begging at some points, at times even for windshield wipers for your car cause it looks cool, lol) to teenagers and young adults! Haha!!! Also, I have to add that most (not ALL but definitely MOST, for sure) times I go in, I end up getting an awful lot more than expected, even if it's just 1 or a few things extra, sometimes actually even forgetting what i planned on getting from there to begin with, but our bathroom gets a Full on makeover, just not the milk and bread! I CANNOT BE THE ONLY ONE WHO DOES THIS?! As I end this review, I'd without a shadow of a doubt have to say, Bravo Walmart 👏🏻 🙌🏻 and I'll absolutely be recommending this amazing Super-store to any and everyone who doesn't already know of it (if there are any) and/or anyone who just may not go there too often to let them in on the "In" secret of the fact that this incredible store is literally able to single handedly empty your pockets and bank accounts if you don't tread very carefully or be mindful and present at all times, this place is completely superior to all other establishments that are similar in nature, in all it's entirety by a great deal, that's my opinion,...

Man this place is a trip, I went in here early AM to grab some survival items because I'm literally living out my car due to an accidental house fire where my pets died but I managed to get my entire family out, but that's another story it's too dramatic and traumatic to think about rn, so I went here to grab some basic personal items, while walking through isles I heard commotion of Workers watching me and making snarky agitating thought provoking statements, amongst each other loud enough for me to hear, they were making jokes like acting as if I'm coming to cause harm and how they need to watch each other; basically profiling they even got a few customers in on the joke, so much so, they all stood there laughing out loudly, while I awkwardly shopped for some socks near them. Than an elder lady up front formed an attitude with me because I asked for, respectfully...A simple price check. Because Walmart online site shows the item was 3x less than asking price at the store, I was confused, so elder lady along with another clerk made a fuss about me just going online to check and she was disrespectful with nasty attitude turning her back on me and walking away, that's when the other elder clerk was making funny faces and shaking her head towards to a customer and the customer proceeds to do the same as if they bonded off it smh I guess monkey see monkey do, but this really pissed me off, it's my emotions and I have to fix it. 💀 But how do you combat people who purposely antagonize you, why blame the victim for their reactions...Do we blame the dogs bite from someone picking on it? But instead of not provoking or agitating? 🤔 So now confusion causes distress. Super comes to help and she was ok until I told her that they could be profiling me, her employees and they can get noticed and sued, she goes "Well that'll be hard to prove." As if she was vouching for their disrespectful ways. It was more of a statement, But their was a gentleman who walked me to electronics who walked to get rest of my stuff for me, he was the coolest and most respectful and literally said a few cool words, to just make me chill out because I been through a ton in the last week, especially having PTSD from the Fire, he was great at defusing the situation instead of furthering it any more. I didn't get his name but he deserves a raise or in a higher position or teaching employee how not to antagonize or provoke for reactions. Never coming here again. Half of a Star....5 Stars to the chill guy in the back helping...

Update: I came in late in the evening to exchange a tablet that I just bought. I bought 2 RCN tablets and 1 contained a used Amazon Fire. I didn't want money, just an exchange. I had my receipt and bought both tablets in. I heard the staff at customer service say that they didn't want to take me,they wanted to leave. I was greeted with an attitude and one employee kept rolling her eyes and talking under her breath. I let her know that I didn't know why she was upset, I wasn't talking to her,but the manager. She got more upset and stormed away saying she"had to get away from there before she did something"...to me. I told her manager and everyone tried to clean it up and say that she didn't mean it, but the employee threatened me. I was then told that if i wanted an exchange that I basically should stand and look pretty, instead of voicing my concern over the employee's threat. I had to go through Wal-Mart corporate and the local police. Most employees cover for one another and lie to protect one another. Customer service is a joke!!! The place needs to purge and replace. I feel bad for the few workers who actually try.

The staff loudly talk about customers and other staff members. Some try to help and be courteous, but they are the minority. Product wise, it's better than a lot of other Walmarts, though.

Update: 2023- The customer service has greatly improved. This is probably due to all of the unfortunate seniors who have been forced back into the workforce. They are positive and have made this location a little...
