IO.APPLIANCES STORE — Local services in Springfield

I will take this down when this person that owns this store calls us back and actually helps us before our warranty expires. During this pandemic, it has been hard for us we were struggling to pay our own bills, we are a family of 8 people, and our washer and dryer stopped working. We went here because it was the closest place open at that time and the place seemed OK, not a very clean place for selling things but he gave us a good price for a set. Looked decent he mentioned those were fixed and ready to go. We even paid for delivery. When the person came to deliver it .. It seemed as though he didn't know much on what he was doing my husband did most of the work. They should of paid my husband instead. We go to use the washer and it starts squeaking loudly the whole house can hear it and leaking and had a loud banging noise as it sprung around and it didn't want to complete the load. We called him up told him everything and he said OK we will take that one fix it up and lend you a loaner washer. If you like the loaner washer you can keep that one. We get the loaner washer and it's not as nice as the one we chose originally but gave it a shot because our laundry was backed up already. The loaner was quieter yet it leaked and didn't want to finish the load so our clothes were soaked. Called him up and he's like oh OK call me this day and I'll help you guys out. We called no answer ...we called and called and called no answer a couple days go by we are still calling him no answer we went by his shop a few times no ones there .. He never to this point has returned our calls never did anything to help us ... We are hoping he's not waiting for the warranty to expire to then pick up our call. Highly thinking of putting this place on the news for scamming people selling them lemon products. If I could I'd give no stars! How about you call us back and give us something that works before your store ends up on the wrong side of...

Update: I'm going to take legal action and im reporting this business all over social media. This is completely awful. I waited THREE DAYS FOR NO ONE TO SHOW UP! I'm in tears writing this. I tried so hard to remain positive during this entire experience, but what's wrong is wrong. I purchased a fridge from this place in January. Since January, they had to come out twice due to the freezer unthawing my food. I wasted money on groceries twice because of it. Now it's making a loud humming some and doubt the same thing with unthawing the food in the freezer with a warm/cool temp in the fridge. I sent the text, and I called. No response. He BLOCKED me. I called from another number, and it rings. This is so unprofessional; Im a single mom, and I don't have extra finances to get another fridge, now I have to rent one, and that's going to be another bill that I can't afford. Please DO NOT IGNORE THE NEGATIVE REVIEWS, as I did. This guy is awful, and he doesn't care about anything that happens once it leaves his Store. I tried to be nice, and he dismissed me. If you enjoy wasting your money and increasing your anxiety, this is the place for you. If you love your family, and their wellbeing do not but from this guy at all. The only positive thing that I can say is that his employees were very friendly and professional. The owner takes advantage of women, which shows through...

Do not waste your money! Very unprofessional. Purchased a set from him. Handed him cash. had to hound him as he did not stick to her original schedule appointment told me he was in the hospital, so I understood. When he finally delivers this at the person that he had come with him, had a tough time dragging them down to the basement. First time we went to go use the dryer noticed it didn’t work called him took me five days to get a hold of him. Finally, he comes to the house and replaces that dryer with a different one 40 days later the dryer doesn’t work still under the six month warranty. Now he says that he can repair. However, I will have to pay for the part. I was not happy because it wasn’t a part of the original agreement, but agreed to it then he ghosted me again. Very unprofessional. I plan on taking him to small claims court and I had to go out and purchase a new dryer. Is unethical and has no business...
