Tandem Bagel Company — Restaurant in Ludlow

I want to like this place, but the service aspect here leaves a lot to be desired. Why does it take 20-25 minutes to make a toasted bagel with cream cheese when you aren't busy? 🤔 This place needs to improve their service times dramatically in the kitchen area. Also a few times I've gone, seems like something is usually wrong with my order when I go. 1st time I ordered a specialty iced coffee with Cheerios in it, and I got a regular hot coffee. I go back to get it corrected, and they STILL made it wrong (and no Cheerios in it either) but I was in no mood to do this again for a 3rd time, so they get this review instead. 2nd time I asked for bagels to be toasted, and they weren't at all. I like the bagels there, and the inside looks great, but management needs to drastically improve service times, and work on cutting down on mistakes by employees. I can't afford to wait around for 25 minutes for a bagel when Dunkin can do it in...

Tasty bagels and coffee, paired with a lovely atmosphere along the river walk with big windows and plenty of light. Vegetarian-friendly with a lot of spreads and vegetable options to customize your bagels and sandwiches, and 4 different plant-based milk choices for drinks. I've only ordered for pickup so I can't speak to counter service, but my orders have all come out accurately and on-time, and pickup is easy - just walk to the white cubbies across from the entrance. The only thing I want to mention is to be aware that during busier times - weekends around 9:00 am, weekdays around noon - online orders are turned off. Totally understandable to prevent things from getting too hectic in store, but as a customer, just be sure...

Fantastic location and really charming store with a deck overlooking a walking path and river. Not a bad place to spend an hour - but you better have an hour to spend. Line was long and moved along fine, but then they give you an order # and you are instructed to wait at a table where your food will eventually be delivered. Me and a friend ordered a couple of toasted bagels, which should have been a straight, slow ball over home plate for a bagel shop. The order took a long time to arrive, which would have been understandable, but other parties who arrived after us were served before us. And when I bit into my bagel it was entirely cold.
