I purchased fabric from this shop via ETSY, I was given a delivery date of 11/20/24, when I went to check to see if it's been shipped, I noticed it hadn't and the delivery date changed but it hadn't shipped yet, so I sent a message to Shawna and asked her, and I got a instant reply back about possible hurricanes, Ok, I understand I do not know the weather in OR, I'm in OH. Then she responded immediately after rather rudely and cancelled my order! Saying that she did not do anything wrong! She basically accused me of not reading her policy which I did, that's why I reached out in the first place. I am going to try to post our interaction as I was quite taken aback. No reason to be rude to customers who were not rude to her in the beginning. Her customer service is awful! I would not reccommend buying from her, because if you have a question about your order she is going to bite your head off for asking...

Extremely rude customer service. I ordered on Etsy. I had a few other orders with different shops on Etsy that had shipped pretty late with the holidays coming. I understand with the holidays mailing times are slowing down. I asked if she thought it would ship on time. I didn’t want them to ship early. I didn’t ask why it hasn’t shipped. I was simply asking if it would ship on time. If she had said no I would’ve kept my order for a future project and gotten different fabric locally for the present I need to make. Her responses went from 0-100 real quick and then she cancelled my order, reported my profile on Etsy as a spam account (which was quickly dismissed as I’ve been ordering on Etsy for over 10 years. I have been taking my alterations in to Jean Marie's Fabrics since I moved to the area many years ago with great success. They have wonderful sewing classes, do custom orders (she made toddler sized sheets out of a queen set of Star Wars sheets for my toddler's room. She also made matching curtains that we still use to this day. Love how versatile she is!) The whole family is great to work with. Will be bringing in a bunch of clothing, and even bedding sets that needs to be repaired this week! Their prices are great and I always appreciate it when they can fit in a rush item occasionally. I trust them with even my expensive designer denim as well!...
