Several months ago, I ordered three made-to-measure suits. The wool swatches were beautiful, and the finished suits exceeded my expectations. Mark chose complementary linings that add to the overall appearance. I also purchased several spread collar shirts, ties, and suspenders to go with the suits, and Mark gave me three pairs of over-the-calf hose to complete the package. I've now worn all three, and they fit so well and are especially comfortable. There's no need to go to St. Louis or elsewhere to have fine suits made. It's all possible right here in Springfield.

10/30/2023: Returned and was surprised to see that the store has doubled in size, carries women's shoes and an expansive collection of men's shoes, also new varieties of merchandise. Bought two pairs of shoes for my wife and two casual shirts and suspenders for me. The two new sales personnel are friendly and personable, and Mark is always a pleasure to work with. This is a great update and expansion of the best men's store in Springfield and the surrounding area.

3/27/2024: I portray Mark Twain and decided to purchase a 3 piece white suit. Mark ordered one in linen, which is especially good for summer when the next portrayals are scheduled. It arrived today, and I went for a fitting. It needs only minor alterations and will be ready in a week, well before I'll wear it. I've been a customer of this store for 20 years. I purchase all my Jack Victor sport coats, suits and most of my dress pants from Marc. I have somewhat of a muscular upper body from my weightlifting years. As such, it wasn't always easy to get jackets to fit well. But, Marc is quite knowledgeable as to what cut of jacket will fit different physiques the best. And thanks to his knowledge, the jackets I get always look and fit great!

I got my first suit here. The staff seems to always be rushing you out of there even though there are never any other customers. I got a basic grey suit that was a little bigger, so i could make alterations if I grew. The suit was tailored, but didn't fit all that well even when I first got it. I brought it back and they brought it out as far as possible without ever telling me that's what they did. It still didn't fit. You'd think any tailor who knows what they're doing would be able to tell me right away the suit can't be alerted to fit! Then he had the nerve to be short with me when I brought it back.
