I noticed that the commercials on television offered sales on everything in the store as well as a 50% discount on a very specific bed.
I was not impressed with the offerings that they had. Keep in mind I have two sleep number beds from 15 years ago and was looking to upgrade.
They offered me a repeat customer discount of 10% off the list price. I was wondering where the sale was at that they spoke about in the commercial.
It appears that it wasn't items in the store but the specific bed that they were highlighting.
The manager admitted that they had raised that specific beds price above the premium beds price so that when they cut it in half it looked more enticing.
Beyond the obvious pricing issues the return policy at the store is only on the mattress and not on a platform or box spring or the fancy bed frames that they offer that will allow you to move up and down and so far. Other bed manufacturers don't have that as a stipulation and if I spent $10,000 for a bed that I was unhappy with I wouldn't just want to be able to return just the mattress.
