Came in with my mother, to look at their Jean's. As we were looking at the womens jeans 3 employees were glaring at us, and even whispering. Not one of them offered to help us. Instead they were treating us as if we had just been released from the county jail. as were digging through all these pairs trying to see how big the sizes ran etc.
the lady turns and goes "What are you looking for?" Instead of how can I help you? She then proceeded to tell me all the Jean's were 34 inseam therefore I shouldnt waste my time. you would think that after being in mandatory shut down from the quarantine they would welcome paying customers.
I found a pair of miss me style Jean's for my daughter, which if I knew where else to get them I would have left.
Not one employee was kind or said hello, or asked us if they could help us.
I felt like they thought we were being suspicious because I was crouched down digging for sizes, but if you dont want someone to crouch down to look at your products then don't put them on the bottom shelf.
The last time I was in there a man that worked there, approached me right when I walked in and began to scream at me and said that I should know better than to be in there and thought he had dealt with me the day before I kept telling him I had no idea what he was talking about he then check the cameras and a printed out photograph, looked stunned and said he had the wrong person and confused me with someone else, who I assume had committed theft.
I understand that maybe they get a lot of suspicious people in there but that is no excuse to treat your customers with disrespect. I am I business owner and one of my 2 brick and mortar stores was burglarized had a rock thrown through the window and I don't treat my customers with disrespect because of what 3 little hooligans decided to do.
I am shocked that they would behave in such a manner.
I will not be coming back. Didnt even get an apology, after that first horrific experience being screamed at by someone you've never met.
then to give them a second chance 2 years later and still get that disgusting attitude.
you should be ashamed of yourselves, I pray you get it together for the sake of...
Read moreI had someone pick up a 50 pound bag of Non-GMO feed from this store and he even showed them the picture of the Non-GMO feed bag to make sure it was correct. After bringing it to Arkansas I saw the bag was NOT non-GMO like what was paid for. We brought it back driving from Arkansas. The gave us back $18 after $24.99 was paid for it. They then charged us $6 more the difference for the bag, and told us to drive around back. They then try to bring us the same GMO bag we just returned to them after paying for a 50 pound bag of organic feed. I had them take it back and bring us th organic 50 pound we paid for. They instead bring a 35 pound bag of organic because they were out. Went back in the store and they told us the 35 pound organic was the same price as the 50 pound bag of organic that they were out of. That is called bait and switch! Not to mention the legal trouble people could get in selling Non-GMO eggs when chickes were fed GMO feed after the farmer paid for Non-GMO from this store and didn't realize they were given the wrong bag. They tried to bait and switch us twice. They owe me the 15 pounds of organic feed they shorted us, this is fraud. You can't sell a 50 pound bag of organic feed, load up a 35 pound of organic feed, then tell customers it is the same price in a bait and switch, this is illegal. I wonder how many people who paid much more for organic feed were given GMO feed and unknowing advertised their eggs as non-GMO fed chickens. A farmer could lose their organic certification over this costing them thousands in lost income. Considering they did the same thing twice, it seems this must be a common bait and switch plan to make extra giving customers the wrong cheaper product than what...
Read morePositive experience with Stihl power tools section. Terry and his crew are professional, knowledgeable and friendly. Good salesmanship and product knowledge led to several hundred dollars purchase on Stihl power tools. From reviewing Race Brothers reviews you find a distinct difference with positive reviews with store staff but many negative interactions with cashiers. I’m not going to disparage the entire cashier staff. My experience was with one female cashier (no name tag) who overcharged me by six times the amount of the purchase. I returned to the store minutes later to point out the error. She argued with me and used passive aggressive comments to insult my ability to count and do simple math. This unprofessional cashier was too arrogant to admit a mistake. What’s worse is when a person (employee) in the wrong attempts to denigrate another (customer) to compensate for their shortcomings. Fortunately, a store employee intervened and pointed out her mistake that she had overcharged me by six times the amount. There was no apology from the cashier even after I pointed out her attitude was uncalled for. Race Brothers serves folks from hard working farming and rural populations. In my previous experience I’ve observed that their employees recognize this and interact with customers accordingly and in a friendly and professional way. Unfortunately we are seeing a growing trend of young self entitled, often college educated, adults. They need to be called out for their immaturity. And we need managers with the maturity and courage to counsel and train their...
