As you can see by the picture I have attached, I called to place my order @11:37. I explained I was sitting at a truck shop and ATTEMPTED to give directions even of EXACTLY where I would be. I was cut off by the young lady who told me they would call my number when they got here to find out where I was. When I gave her my number she repeated it back to me as she entered it. She took my order and gave me a 30 - 45 min. time frame. I waited a while longer giving them extra time for traffic, other deliveries, etc.... I called back at 13:17! Got the actual delivery dilriver... She said she came here, looked INSIDE, went to every department and even called "my number" but it said it wasn't a good number! I explained that if the person who took my order had let me give directions she wouldn't have been running all over the place because I was not INSIDE! She gave me to the "manager" who was the same young lady who took my order. She proceeded to argue with me about the time I had been waiting. When I called and the fact of her cutting me off when I tried to give her the FULL directions! I explained to her that I did not get a phone call like promised to which she reads off the number she entered and it was incorrect! Not my error, hers! Then I try to explain this is why I had tried to give her these directions (proceeding with full directions) & she replies " Like I would be able to give ALL of that to my driver when I have like 20 other deliveries." I am really hot under the collar and proceed to guve her my thoughts on the fact that, "HELLO! YOU WORK IN THE PIZZA DELIVERY BUSINESS! ISN'T THAT PART OF DELIVERY?!? HAVING CORRECT DIRECTIONS??? Funny how other pizza places including other Papa Johns are more than willing to take down all the directions needed including "SPECIAL REQUESTS " like silly pictures being drawn on a stupid box but you don't want to take down directions to help your driver find the CUSTOMER!!! " Then she hung up on me!!!! I love Papa Johns but I will never contact this location for a Pizza EVER again.
I just received a call from a very nice gentleman. He apologized, explained that he has been working on correcting some issues at this location and asked what he could do to help make things right. I expressed that talking with the young lady and helping her learn the proper skills to be the manager of that location. I said I didn't want anyone getting fired, just for their employees too grow and become better at their positions. That the other employees are looking up to her and she needs to basically be well versed in all positions of the job including customer service.
I thank you sir...
Read moreI placed an order for 2 large pizzas and a 2liter Mountain Dew to be delivered. The time on the order was 5:38PM. The estimated delivery time was 54-64 minutes, which seemed long but ok. At 7:05 when we hadn’t gotten or delivery I called the store to see how much longer it would be. The person who answered said he was the manager and could he help me. I told him he I wanted to check our order because of how long it had been. He took our address and said oh it’ll be there at 7:05. By now it was 7:10. I pointed that out and told him it had been now right at an hour and 45 minutes since I placed the order. I wasn’t rude or even upset at this time, just wanted to see when we’d get our order. He immediately was rude and condescending, talking down to me. He explained in very lengthy sentences how he didn’t have enough help, only 2 driver and how they couldn’t exceed road conditions. Btw, there were no road conditions. No rain or snow. Now I was mad. Not because of the slow delivery but the flippant attitude of William. I again asked how long it would be and said so it could be longer to which he replied yea apparently so. He then went into again very wordy about how he had no help etc etc. I’m sorry but that’s not my problem. I expressed my dislike of be talked down to and his attitude. I was not happy. He then said I’ve refunded your money. I didn’t care about that. Also he didn’t really want to give me his name. He said he was the district supervisor. So I asked for his boss. He first said he wouldn’t give me personal information. I explained to him that his boss name wasn’t personal but a business information. So he reluctantly did. I then hung up. FINALLY at 7:25 our pizza arrived. Cold. ...
Read moreWaited an hour for our order not unusual for a busy night, driver dropped off order and left. Shortly after I opened the first box and realized it was not our order I immediately called the store and was told by Josh the manager that there was nothing he could do as they were short handed and too many rebakes to do already. I assume this means my order was far from the first that had been screwed up that night. He did agree to refund the order leaving me an hour later and and a pizza I didn’t order. We decided to scrape off the toppings rather than reorder from a more competent establishment and wait another hour. Then our door bell rang it was our original delivery driver apparently had now realized his error and wanted to swapour orders. I advised him that I had already called the store been told there was nothing they could do, so we had started trying to pick off the toppings of the wrong order. He started to leave so I asked if I could have my original order surely cold at this point a hour and a half later but at least it was our toppings. I was told no because we opened the other order and the manager had already refunded the order. Now mind you it wasn’t my mistake that sent me the wrong order and it certainly wasn’t my poor management skills that left his store so short handed they couldn’t be bothered to fix their mistakes, but what really bother me is in the middle of disease pandemic papa John’s was willing to pick back up a order they delivered to the wrong house and redeliver it to another unknowing consumer. Think about that the next time you order from this store you never know how many houses your pizza went to before it got...
