This was by far the easiest party I ever booked! This was for my son's 11th birthday party. We got the friday night 99$ special from 6 to 930 pm. This included the rental of the back party room with a table to fit like 14 kiddos. An extra side picnic table, a side table for gifts and a round bar table. Tons of room. The room also came with a table cloth, party plates, silverware and party napkins. The best was the blinking party cups for each person. They provided us with a knife, more plates, silverware, candles and a lighter for the cake upon request. Black lights lit up the whole room and they gave us a remote for a fog machine included with upper fans in the back in case it gets too warm or smokey in the room. When the kids walked in they said it was the coolest birthday room! We all agreed! There was unlimited pizza, pop and laser tag the entire night with skating for an additional charge per child which was so worth it, so we never had to worry about a kid getting hungry or thirsty an hour later. Taylor was our waitress and she was spot on with everything, she visited often to check on us. We literally didn't have to really lift a finger the entire party. I would highly suggest this as a choice for your child. If you compare prices to other places for parties it comes to about the same price and the kids had soooo much fun, lots of thankful hearts that night and I'm so glad my son had a great time with his friends, he'll have these memories forever and we are very grateful for the great service we received!...
Read moreI learned to skate here in 1975 while in high school, and skated here every week for many years after. This was a top notch rink, and was packed with skaters. A nice BIG beautiful floor. A 1st class roller skating rink. It was ,and still is what I consider my "home rink". For years now the floor has been needing repair , and more benches for skate changing needed. Carpets needing replacement. I, and many other friends who skate here regularly kept hoping improvements would come. Now, sadly, instead of the maintenance and improvements, a sizable portion of the rink floor has been barricaded off to put up kiddie bounce houses making the floor considerably smaller. Speaking for myself and multiple friends who skate here regularly this is a very frustrating change. Instead of improving the floor it has now shrunk. In NO way a win for those who come to actually roller skate. I can understand a business has to be profitable to stay open, just wish that the skating part did not have to lose out to accomplish this. To all of you who may have a similar story to mine , GET BACK OUT HERE AND GIVE ROLLER SKATING A GO AGAIN !!!! It's great fun , and it's great fun to see friends from "back in the day". Come back out, support the rink, and prove that roller skating is not dead, and just a thing of the past !! Maybe with enough support and a boost to business , this rink can return to as good as we remember. Maybe, just maybe,...
Read moreIt's a decent small sized skating rink. I came here for a college event (SCSU).
The laser tag is not like the typical laser tag I find at other places, the arena is small, but has plenty of places to take cover and is split between the two teams (no crossing over). The goal is to tag as many opposing players as possible. One thing I did not like about the laser tag however, is that the vests are rather bulky in comparison.
The rink is oval shaped as most are, and goes counter-clockwise normally (Sometimes they do reverse skating). You can get roller skates (quads) or roller blades (in-line), and I believe they are rather lax about what you bring on the floor (I even saw someone with a small board). The rules are that you cannot go in the center, you must keep skating, and you can't sit on the walls, but they seem to not enforce them much.
The arcade is rather small, but I wouldn't have expected much in the first place.
Overall, it's probably just as good as any other...
