Outside of the fact they never have milk, decent produce or many of the groceries I typically pick up (out of stock), today I returned a purchased. I picked up earlier in the day, using my Target reward points. The purchase was $19.99 so approximately $22 with tax. This evening when I brought it in to return it because it just wasn’t going to work, I was told I would get a little over two dollars for back onto my Target rewards. This is Target “reward” points! This is 2% back on purchases I made so do the math! How much did I have to purchase from Target in order to get $22 in rewards but then when I return an item I don’t get it returned to me???? Then Target can put it back on the shelf and sell it to another customer and make another $20?!?!?? Does this make sense? Does not to me. Target used to be my favorite store and I came here for everything. But over the last year that has changed dramatically and I’ve been purchasing more and more and more on Amazon. If it wasn’t for a time crunch with this item, I would’ve gotten it on Amazon prime. Sorry Target, you lost a good customer. I’ll still come in from time to time to pick up a gallon of milk (if you have it) or some small miscellaneous item, but the type of money I used to spend there will happen no longer. Unbelievable reward program, Target!
Part 2: I called The customer service line and spoke to an individual with a very thick accent. I asked this person if they were in Minnesota and was told they were actually offshore. I asked if my complaint would go to someone who would address it and actually contact me back and I was told no, they’ll take the information and give it to, the complaint department or whatever. This person seem very sincere and what they’re told is what will actually happen but myself, as a customer, have absolutely no guarantee that this will be passed down to someone who will read it and care. Therefore, have nothing left to do to warn individuals that although this used to be a wonderful store, it’s not any longer. the shelves are never stocked, starting to look extremely rundown, and although the employees are pleasant, they have absolutely no power to help in any kind of a situation. Stick with Amazon. You make one call Regarding an issue and it is immediately rectified. Not so with target (Purposely did not...
Read moreWent there because my hubbys pharmacy is there now. So I went to stop by their trading cards section to grab a few booster packs. They didn't have very many, so I took what was left. The register limited me to 2! Funny thing is, they sell the bundle boxes, which contain 8 or 9 boosters, and some dice and other stuff I don't want. So I can get like 20 boosters if I bought that, so why is there a limit of 2 on the singles? Not to mention, the lady who I asked about this went on a tirade about how people are reselling online. Just the day before I got a case of 180x2 boosters I bought online, for cheaper than in store price. Then she asked if I was going to buy any. Well, would have loved to. Told her good luck with those. She said they had been selling just fine. Is that why they were all still there? You can tell because they were pulled up to the front edge of the shelf. Why are these people so crazy? Whoever has the authority to make these calls has no knowledge on this subject whatsoever. No wonder I hear so much bad about Target...oof.
Went back to edit this when I saw I could add photos. I have my receipts. Here they are, available online and from the vendors, always cheaper than in store. So unless Target is trying to turn into a warehouse, I suggest they behave as a retailer and let customers purchase products,...
Read moreThis is not a bad Target. It has about 85% of the stuff that need instead of going to multiple stores, But management is either lazy, Not qualified or undertrained on the decisions they make how the stores run. Not having stocking overnight is an extremely bad decision by management , to only have stocking when the store is open is an bad decision. I watch employees with carts trying to stock shelves at the same time senior citizens unable to grab the items that they need. Having multiple checkout Lanes but only one open is another oversight on management! Get out of your office and open a lane. The self checkout is an okay idea if it runs smoothly when it generally doesn't. I'll watch three employees at the Help desk goofing off laughing and playing on their phones when there's a line of customers trying to check out and only one employee trying to run it. Whoever the general manager is should be ashamed of what they do Or more to the point what...
